Greetings Saviors, We would like to announce an update regarding DLC restrictions and the policy on TP compensation for the Token price reduction. You will now be able to receive your DLC products as we have lifted all restrictions. We are also aware that there were users unable to receive compensation as their Token was stuck in the GM message box. TP compensation will be provided to the players who had DLC products (Exclusive Access 2 & Veteran's Packs) unopened in their message box after they receive them in-game in order to determine the server on which they wish to receive their compensation. Please send us a ticket after receiving your DLC products so we can send you the relevant TP compensation. However, please note that you must request TP compensation for the Tokens included in the DLC products within 30 days from this announcement to be eligible. Please read the conditions of TP compensation from this previous announcement : https://treeofsavior.com/news/?n=465
Greetings, Saviors! We would like to announce the details of our weekly maintenance. Make sure to check below for the maintenance schedule and patch notes. Please note that other issues and bugs are also being worked on even if they are not mentioned below.
Greetings, Saviors. Our PVP server for [EU] Fedimian went through some connection issues earlier and you may have been unable to access it. Connection was affected during the following time: from [EDT] 19:30 to 21:25, June 12 2016. We would like to let you know that we have now restarted the server and connection has returned to normal. Thank you for your patience.
Greetings, Saviors! We've compiled another list of questions gathered from our forums to answer this week; read them below. 1. Regarding the Client and Server Lags First, regarding the client, we have prepared a couple of additional updates as a follow-up to the previous update. They are ready to be included in the future patch. We can expect enhanced performance in a crowded situation. As for the server lag problem, we’ve tracked down the factors suspected to be related to server resource leaks and we applied corrective measures during our latest patch. We can only confirm the server issues a few days after the fact, so we are constantly checking the system. 2. When will you reopen the servers? The rationale behind closing the servers was to create a controlled environment so that the issues such as bots, lags and payment issues can be solved. The ultimate goal was to provide our users with optimal gameplay and experience. After implementing certain fixes for bot and exploit issues, we are planning to reopen the servers for newcomers. Look out for further announcements about this. 3. When can we expect to hear about Rank 8 classes? We are currently developing Rank 8 classes. The information about those classes are soon to be revealed. We hope to show you what we have prepared and polished very soon. 4. Will Monster Gems and Cards ever become tradable? The original intention behind them was to encourage users to explore various fields and invest a certain amount of time to obtain the desired items. That is why we set them as untradeable. We have no plans to make them tradable yet. 5. Could you let us know which add-ons are allowed and which aren’t? We have no plans on restricting add-ons that conveniently display information which can be obtained from external communities or between users. However, we are sternly against add-ons that allow abnormal gameplay such as being able to use NPC stores on a field or an auto-play program. Those are prohibited and its user is liable to be banned. 6. Lv 160 and Lv 175 dungeons are very stingy with EXP compared to other dungeons; are there any plans to revitalize them? It is true that there are unpopular dungeons or mercenary missions. We believe that even if we simply adjust EXP and Silver yields from dungeons, it will only rearrange the popularity list and will not solve the problem fundamentally. That is why in kTOS, we have included unique rewards that are dungeon-specific in certain dungeons. And we plan to expand such practice to other dungeons as well. In addition, this week’s patch will change all the dungeons’ BGMs to their own themes. 7. Will there be a housing system and/or guild castle customization? At the moment, the degree of customization is limited to changing the Lodge theme. However, we are considering the system which players can furnish the lodge with certain items or exhibit the trophies earned. Likewise, the guild hangouts will have a place where the players can place their trophies.
Greetings, Saviors! As previously announced, during today’s weekly maintenance the price of TP Shop Tokens (30 days) was reduced from 198 TP to 99 TP, and we will be compensating those using or possessing Tokens at the time of the price reduction. We would like to remind you of the details and conditions of this compensation, so make sure to read and understand the information below. 1. Teams Eligible for TP Compensation A. Those using one or more 30-day Tokens at the time of the price reduction B. Those possessing one or more unused 30-day Tokens at the time of the price reduction > Note: TP compensation will not apply to Event Tokens such as 60, 15 and 7-day Tokens. 2. Compensation Items A. 99 TP per each Token being used by the team at the time of the price reduction B. 99 TP per each Token possessed by the team at the time of the price reduction > Note: TP compensation will be provided on a per-team, per-Token basis and sent directly to the inventory of each eligible team. 3. Additional Token Time Extension A. and B. Besides the TP compensation mentioned above, all Tokens being used at the time of the price reduction will receive an extension of 7 days. Unlike the TP compensation, time extension will apply to all Tokens being used at the time of the price reduction, including Event Tokens such as 60, 15 and 7-day Tokens. > Note: the 7-day extension will apply once per team with one or more active Tokens, i.e. multiple active Tokens will not grant your team multiple time extensions. 4. Conditions – IMPORTANT > TP compensation only applies to 30-day Tokens: TP compensation will be provided only to teams owning and/or using non-event 30-day Tokens. Owning and/or using Event Tokens such as 60, 15 or 7-day Tokens will not grant you any form of TP compensation. > All 30-day Tokens count, regardless of how they were obtained: All non-event 30-day Tokens owned and/or being used by a team will make that team eligible for compensation, regardless of how the Tokens were obtained: purchased on the TP Shop, retrieved from the Market, obtained via a Veteran's Pack DLC, etc. > All 30 day Tokens count, regardless of where they're being kept: All unused non-event 30-day Tokens owned by a team will make that team eligible for compensation, regardless of where the owning team is keeping them: one character's personal inventory, Team Storage, Retrieve tab on the Market, contained in an unopened Veteran's Pack DLC in the team's Message Box, etc. > Compensation provided per Token, per team: Both TP compensation and Token time extension will be provided on a per-Token, per-team basis. This means that, if you are using or own multiple Tokens within your team, that team will receive compensation for each Token being used and each Token owned. For example, if you have a team that’s using a Token, and then character A owns an unused 30-day Token and character B owns another unused 30-day Token, your team will receive: A) seven-day extension on the Token being used by the team, and B) total of 297 TP = 99 TP for the one Token currently being used + 198 TP for the two unused Tokens owned by the team (99 TP for character A’s and 99 TP for character B’s). > Time of the price reduction: Compensation applies only to teams owning and/or using Tokens at the time of the price reduction, defined as June 7, 2016 at EDT 01:00 AM (start of today’s weekly maintenance period). If you sold a Token or its time expired before the start of today’s maintenance, that Token will not make your team eligible for compensation. > TP sent directly to inventory: TP compensation will be sent directly to the inventory of each eligible team.
Greetings Saviors, We have fixed the issue with the instanced dungeon of the [EU] Fedimian Server. Our apologies for the inconvenience you may have experienced during this time. Greetings, Saviors. Due to a recent lapse in our Bot Classifier, a number of players were mistakenly deemed bot users and had their accounts blocked as a result. Some of Players mistakenly received due to my mistake and we retrieved all of items without them So sorry for inconvenience of this issue. We would like to announce that these accounts have now been unblocked and that their corresponding teams have been compensated with the following items: - 15-Day Event Token (untradable) - EXP Tome x4 - Instanced Dungeon Reset Voucher x4 Below is the list of accounts affected. [SEA] Telsiai xY*** To*** ZkyWal*** Crystal*** Windbo*** Windschna*** About RII and the Bot Classifier As you may know, we make use of our Bot Classifier for finding bot users and examining bot reports, partly by taking into account the RII of other players (see our Dev Blog post here for details). Until now, using the RII of the reporting players has helped signal the offending users to the Bot Classifier, giving us a clue as to which users are more likely to be bot accounts. This high reliance on RII, however, has caused some innocent players to be considered as bot users as well. For this reason, we have decided to slightly change how reported cases are handled. The reporting players’ RII will still count towards the probability of the reported user being a bot, and will signal to the Bot Classifier which accounts are more likely to be using them. However, the RII of the reporting users will no longer influence our decision when determining whether the reported accounts are using bots or not, and they will be judged solely on their in-game behavior and other Bot Classifier criteria. Finally, to players whose access to the game is being denied, if you find that your account has been unfairly blocked, make sure to send us a ticket through our Support page so we may reevaluate your case. Thank you. Sincerely, IMC Staff
Greetings, Saviors! We would like to announce the details of our weekly maintenance. Make sure to check below for the maintenance schedule and patch notes. Please note that other issues and bugs are also being worked on even if they are not mentioned below.
Greetings, Saviors! Today on the blog we’re talking about our Saviors' Q&A. The following statement is indicating that many of our saviors posted these questions frequently. 1. The game still feels slow, even after the optimization patch. How much more and when do you plan to further optimize the game, and when can we expect a lag-free Tree of Savior? A. We thoroughly applied all of our previously announced optimization measures, but because every user’s playing environment is different and there are so many diverse factors at play in-game, we still cannot guarantee that the expected improvements will show in every single situation. There are still some areas in the game we can speed up, so we plan on continuing to improve the lag issue through frequent patches. 2. Do you have any plans to develop a class or rank reset potion? A. Creating a character in TOS involves making choices about stats, skills, attributes, classes, and many other things. It is possible to revert a character’s entire state to what it was like the day before, for example, but rolling back their class or skills while maintaining the level and stats intact is not an easy task. We will, however, consider making it possible to give up class advancement quests to allow picking a different class. 3. We’re being affected by the bug that joins 10-15 people together in instanced dungeons. If you’re going to allow large numbers of characters to be matched together, why don’t you introduce stronger boss mobs or random hidden bosses? A. This bug is an issue that’s been affecting only our Steam servers, and something we’re working to fix as soon as possible. We did try playing dungeons with over 10 people in a test version of the game, but it was just too confusing and complicated. That is why we want to keep the parties to 5 players or under. 4. There’s a connection problem happening every time the Gravity Pole skill is used. Are you fixing this bug? How far along are you on this issue? A. This bug has been around for a long time, but we haven’t been able to accurately reproduce it so far, so until now we’re still not entirely sure of how it can be fixed. This is especially true considering that it has never occurred in the development server, only on the live server. We’ve recently found and revised some aspects we think might be related to this bug, and we expect to apply them as soon as we’re done with testing. 5. Sometimes a character’s head will just disappear, which is a shame considering the otherwise beautiful graphics of the game. Are you fixing this bug? A. The dev team is well aware of this issue. We’ve set up a testing PC to figure out whether this happens only with specific video cards. We’ll try to fix this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for reading and have fun playing Tree of Savior.
