[UPDATE] [CLOSED] HALLOWEEN '17 DUNGEON: Creepy Klaipeda

Greetings, Saviors! It’s Halloween season again! This time we’re celebrating with a brand new kind of competitive dungeon where you’ll have to fight for your sweet Halloween treats….   Event Period FROM the scheduled maintenance on October 24, 2017 TO the scheduled maintenance on November 21, 2017 Who Can Participate - Characters of Rank 3 or higher How to Participate STEP 1. To enter the event dungeon, talk to the Scaredy Scarecrow in the city of Klaipeda. The dungeon opens every hour at 00 minutes (01:00, 02:00, 03:00, etc.) and remains open for 15 minutes.         - You can enter the event dungeon up to 3 times per day, per team (resets at 00:00, server time).         - You can always enter the event dungeon as long as it is open and you have at least 1 entry left.         - Entering the dungeon multiple times within the same time schedule (for example, entering two different times on the 01:00-01:15 schedule) will not count as multiple entries.         -  You cannot enter the event dungeon if your character is in a premade party.         -  Non-cosmetic items must be taken off before entering the dungeon.  STEP 2. Upon entering the dungeon, you’ll be transported to “Creepy Klaipeda” and automatically obtain 5 Sugar Treats. Your goal there is to attack monsters and fellow Saviors in order to gain more Treats, while avoiding being attacked, which will subtract from your total of Treats. To do this, you can’t use your usual character skills; instead, you’ll have to use the event-exclusive Candy Dash skill and basic attacks (see Combat Rules). STEP 3. Monsters and other players won't be your only obstacles in Creepy Klaipeda. Inside the event dungeon, you will come across a type of beads on the ground with a circle around them. Step near the beads and, if you're carrying 150 Sugar Treats or more, 25% of your Treats will be consumed, while another 25% is dropped on the ground around you! STEP 4. If you manage to defeat the only Ghost Tini monster in the map, a red portal will appear for 15 seconds. Exit the dungeon through this portal and you will return to the city of Klaipeda with all the Sugar Treats you collected inside, which will be automatically converted into Odd Candies. If you don’t exit through the portal, you will only return to Klaipeda after the dungeon’s 15 minutes are up (your Sugar Treats will still be converted into Odd Candies).         - You can also exit the dungeon through the Scaredy Scarecrow NPC, but in that case the Sugar Treats you collected inside will be consumed (deleted). STEP 5. After collecting Odd Candies from the event dungeon, exchange the Candies for different rewards at the Scaredy Scarecrow (see Rewards). Combat Rules 1) You will not be able to use skills or items inside the event dungeon. You also cannot bring in any Companions. 2) All players will use the same basic attack (Z key), which increases in range but also in cooldown and casting time whenever you gather over 50, 100 and 150 Sugar Treats. 3) The only skill you can use inside the dungeon is Candy Dash, a skill exclusive to this event dungeon. 4) Candy Dash does not deal damage. It increases your movement speed by 10 for 3 seconds. The cooldown is 6 seconds. 5) In order to gain Sugar Treats, you need to attack other players or monsters inside the event dungeon (Kepa, Popolion, Large Kepa, Halloween Witch). 6) You lose Sugar Treats every time you are attacked by players/monsters or use the Candy Dash skill. 7) No defense is applied inside the dungeon. Instead, your attack and HP are determined by the total amount of Sugar Treats you possess. Stats Inside the Dungeon - SUGAR TREATS: After entering the event dungeon, you receive a basic amount of 5 Sugar Treats. After that, your current amount will be displayed over your character. - ATTACK: 2 or less Sugar Treats equal an attack value of 1; after that, 1 attack is added for every 2 Sugar Treats (for example, having 9 Sugar Treats will give you a total attack of 4). - DEFENSE: Does not apply inside the event dungeon. - HP: Your HP equals the number of Sugar Treats you possess. Whenever you are attacked, your Treats drop according to the damage inflicted. Rewards Exchange your Odd Candies (converted Sugar Treats) for rewards at the Scaredy Scarecrow! - Blessed Shard Box (100 Odd Candies) - Halloween Box* (300 Odd Candies) - Attribute Points Box Rank A (500 Odd Candies) - Attribute Points Box Rank S (1,000 Odd Candies) - Bear Eyemask (6,000 Odd Candies) *Halloween Box Items (1 random item per box) - Halloween Firecracker x5 - Odd Candy x50 - Odd Candy x100 - Odd Candy x300 - Title: Dungeon Creeper - Commemorative Note x1 [displays a commemorative image] - EXP Tome (14 Days) x1 - Goddess Sculpture (14 Days) x1 - Old Enhancement Card x1 - Enchant Scroll (14 Days) x1 - Golden Anvil x1 - LV 10 Gem Abrasive x1 Important - Odd Candies cannot be traded but they can be transferred via Team Storage. - Odd Candies will be automatically deleted after the event period has ended. - You can enter the event dungeon a maximum of 3 times per day, per team (regardless of Token use). - You can collect a maximum of 300 Odd Candies per entry. - If you happen to be kicked out of the dungeon due to an error, your Sugar Treats will reset but the entry will not count towards your daily maximum. - The Dungeon Creeper title cannot be traded, but it can be transferred via Team Storage. - Information about the event can be double checked via the in-game Help List.

[NA] Klaipeda and [SA]: An Update on Account Restrictions and Item Seizures

Greetings Saviors, We would like to announce that we will be unblocking the first batch of players while offering our sincere apologies to the players who were unable to play the game due to the temporary restrictions. Upon investigating, we had discovered that there were some players that had already crafted, sold, traded or otherwise removed the problematic items from their inventory which made it harder for us to retrieve them. As a result, we have decided to split the accounts into the following three categories in order to allow the most players to get back into the game as soon as possible. These categories are as follows:  A.  Game access allowed, problematic items retrieved, no restrictions, compensation given.  In this category, the majority of accounts that have items that need to be retrieved will be done through the upcoming temporary maintenance. These 1195 accounts will have the irregular items retrieved and special compensation given during this time.  The items have been retrieved on an account-wide basis. This means that items may have been retrieved from not only the character that obtained it but other characters, companions and your team storage as well, if the character in question did not have the required numbers. The same retrieval process has been applied to the other groups as well. B. Game access allowed, some problematic items retrieved, market & trading restrictions, compensation after full investigation. In this category, users that have more than half of the irregular items in their inventory will have them collected and others that have either consumed or modified the items but still have them in their accounts will have their accounts unlocked and compensation will be given based on the length of time their account was locked. However, these 234 accounts will face in-game trade restrictions.  Until all items have been collected, these restricted accounts will be unable to trade in the Market (buy or sell) or trade individually.  Once processing is complete, and no issues have been found, these accounts will later receive the same special compensation as group A. The date of which will be announced through another announcement.  However, if these accounts prove to be problematic, they may face further restrictions.  Please Note: These accounts mentioned above may have certain items seized for investigation as they may have been used in conjunction with other items in crafting, Gem enhancement etc. While they will not be usable in-game for the time being, please rest assured that they will be returned after the investigation is over. However, please be aware that they may be returned to their earlier states depending on our findings. Also, please refrain from using or consuming the problematic items as this will extend the time needed for us to investigate and clear these accounts.  We have alerted these specific users through GM message.  C. Game access restricted, problematic items under investigation, compensation after full investigation. After a detailed investigation into accounts which had more than half of the times that require retrieval or placed a considerable amount in the Market, we have decided that these 213 users have possibly abused the system and their accounts will continue to be locked. As of now, we are still investigating the effect these users’ actions had on the market and as such a full investigation will take some time. Depending on the result further restrictions may be placed.  If, after our investigation, these accounts have not abused the system, compensation will be given and the affected account will be unlocked. However, once again, depending on the seriousness of the abuse these accounts will be permanently banned.   We expect to complete this process within a week. Once again we would like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to our Saviors and we will work to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

Weekly Question and Answer – July 1st, 2016

1. The update gap between kTOS and iTOS is quite wide now. When can we finally expect the next update? The way we develop TOS is generally an internal process, but we know players have been waiting for updates on iTOS for a long time now, so we thought we would shed some light on how we’ve been working and what we’re planning. The repositories that manage the servers, clients, graphic data, etc. for kTOS and iTOS are currently separate. That means that, originally, all the contents and the system were made for kTOS, and then transferred to iTOS. The only exceptions were updates made to target issues specific to iTOS. These updates were applied directly to iTOS, since running them through kTOS first would have delayed our response time to fix the issues. Lately, however, we’ve noticed a high demand for kTOS contents among iTOS players, and so we’ve decided to change our policy and work on merging the repositories for the two versions. So far, iTOS updates like new costumes and such were done through a partial application of contents, rather than a full-sized merging process. However, we feel that this repository merge is necessary to minimize patch gaps between both versions of TOS. As for when you can expect new updates, we’re now focusing on the merge process and the plan is to finish merging and testing during the latter half of July, after which we’ll implement the merge patch. We expect to bring all the major updates we have prepared to iTOS after this process is finished.   2. Whatever happened to the PVP system? When can we expect that? The PVP system is included in the list of major updates we want to implement after the kTOS-iTOS repository merging process is finished. This will include the Team Battle League feature, as well as GvG within servers of the same region. These contents have already been applied to kTOS and are currently being tweaked in terms of balance and bug fixing. We consider PVP contents as a very important part of the game, so we wanted to make sure the environment is as balanced as possible. This unfortunately caused some delays in bringing the PVP system over, for which we ask for your understanding.   3. Do you have any plans for a future silver-sharing feature? We’ve received constant requests and suggestions from the players about a silver-sharing feature, so we’re currently looking for ways on how we could implement this in the TOS environment. We can say that, at the moment, we’re working to develop a feature that would allow silver to be shared between characters of the same team. As of now, we don’t intend to make silver sharable between different accounts; our initial plan is to allow transferring silver through the Team Storage.
