Weekly Question and Answer – June 17, 2016
1. Do you have any plans to make Monster Gems or Cards tradable? We do plan on making Monster Cards, Monster Gems and regular Gems sharable through the Team Storage in a future patch. Along with this change, we plan to make Boss Monster Cards become unobtainable through quests and will be deleted. 2. The current UI makes it difficult to understand whether an item is going to change to untradeable depending on the Token we’re using. Are you working to fix this? When a character participates in a personal trade with an untradeable Token, the items traded with it will also become untradeable after that trade. Despite this having been mentioned in previous comments and announcements, a lot of users are still confused as to why their traded items became untradeable even when trading with a Token activated. For this reason, we are currently developing a new UI that will hopefully make it clearer to trading users how their activated Token will influence the items’ tradable/untradeable status. 3. When will we get new premium costumes on Steam? We will be launching a new set of premium costumes and head accessories for the TP Shop this coming maintenance, and we also plan on releasing premium cosmetic items more often with future scheduled maintenances. 4. Are you working on any Swordsman balancing issues? We expect to implement some changes on the Korean servers as soon as next week. These changes will include improving the attack scope of a few skills and increasing STR stat bonuses. 5. It’s not uncommon to see items being sold on the Market for RMT purposes. Do you have any plans to combat this? We’re currently developing an in-game Market report function which we expect to implement sometime next week. As you can probably guess, this function will allow users to report items suspected of RMT, helping us identify similar cases and reduce the prevalence of RMT in the Market. 6. Do you have an ETA on when the servers will be reopened to new users? As mentioned in our previous weekly Q&A post on the blog, the purpose of closing the servers to new users was to allow for a more controlled environment in which we could stabilize the game to a certain extent and fix some pressing issues that required our attention. On the other hand, we’ve been receiving numerous requests from players who are eager to join ToS, and some of the issues we were most worried about have thankfully been fixed meanwhile. As such, we plan on reopening the servers after the Market report function mentioned earlier is implemented in the game, which is expected to happen sometime next week.

Head out to an Event Notice Board on February 20 and don’t miss out on the chance to get the new Winter Penguin companion! Event Period FROM the scheduled maintenance on February 20, 2018 TO the scheduled maintenance on March 13, 2018 Who Can Participate - Characters of all levels How to Participate STEP 1. Visit your nearest Event Notice Board every day during the event period to receive one Last Winter Gift and Last Winter Buff set. The Last Winter Gift can be received once per team every two hours (up to 3 times every day) and contains the following items: [EDIT] - Enchant Scroll (14 Days) x2 - Icicle (14 Days) x2 - Winter Key x2 - Last Winter Buff effects: +30% EXP gains for 2 hours STEP 2. Find a Bonfire to melt your Icicles and receive random prizes each time. Every Icicle you use near a Bonfire can turn into one of the following items: - Keista HP Potion Lv3 - Looting Chance Potion - Lv3 Condensed Stamina Pill - Keitrys Protective Potion - Keitrys Recovery Potion - Keitrys Elemental Enhance Potion - Keitrys Bravery Potion - Golden Anvil (14 Days) STEP 3. Once you collect 10 Winter Keys, bring them to the Vault near the Event Notice Board in the city of Klaipeda. Open the Vault and receive the new Winter Penguin companion! STEP 4. If you already have the Winter Penguin companion, go back to the Vault every day for even more prizes! Every Winter Key you use to open the Vault wins you one of the following random items: - Soul Crystal - Megaphone - Warp Scroll (14 Days) - EXP Tome (14 Days) Important - Winter Keys and the Vault NPC will be automatically deleted after the event period. - Winter Keys can be transferred via Team Storage, but they cannot be traded. - Timed items cannot be traded or transferred via Team Storage, so make sure to receive them with the correct character. - The Last Winter buff is character-based (it does not apply to your entire team). The buff does not stack with itself and it cannot be received while it is already active.
Introducing the Item Transcendence System
Greetings Saviors! This week on the Developer's Blog, we would like to cover the Item Transcendence System. Item Transcendence - Only weapons, armor and accessories are eligible for Transcendence. - The chance of successfully Transcending an item will increase depending on the number of materials(Goddesses' Blessed Gems) you select to use. - Different Gems are required depending on the type of equipment you wish to Transcend. - There are different chances of success for each stage of Transcendence and each success will elevate the item to the next Transcendence Stage. (Maximum of 10 stages) - The item will lose one Transcendence Stage upon failure but will not decrease in potential. - Transcended equipment will become untradable. ※ Please note that equipment that has been reduced to Transcendence Stage 0 due to repeated failures will become tradable once more. - The damage of items will increase accordingly to their original stats when Transcended. ※ The contents above may be changed as results of patches. How to Transcend Equipment [Instructions] - You will be able to obtain a [Blessed Shard] from a [Saalus Cube] that is given after completing the Saalus Convent Mission. - You will be able to complete the mission twice per day and a Cube will be awarded upon completion. Token users will be able to obtain up to 6 Shards if they reopen the cubes. - You will be able to create Blessed Gems by buying Goddesses' Blessed Gem: Weapon / Armor / Accessory recipes from the Item Merchants in Klaipeda and Orsha. - You will be able to transcend the items by talking to the Blacksmith NPCs in either Klaipeda or Orsha with the Blessed Gems. - Drag and drop the equipment and Blessed Gem you wish to use to Transcend. - You will be able to see the success rate after placing the Gem. - The main ability of the item will increase at a set % per Transcendence Stage. - The Transcendence Stage of each item will be displayed as a Purple Star on the item. - The increased stats will also be displayed on the item’s tooltip. ※ The contents above may be changed as results of patches. Extracting Blessed Gems - You will be able to extract the Gem from Transcended items from the Blacksmith NPCs at either Klaipeda or Orsha. - Monsters will have a chance of dropping the Hammer of Dismantlement which is required to extract Blessed Gems. - You will be able to retrieve some of the Blessed Gems used to transcend the item after it is destroyed. - Click the ‘Extract Blessed Gem’ option at either the Klaipeda or Orsha Blacksmith NPC. - Right-click the Transcended Item and Hammer of Dismantlement in your inventory. - The Transcended Item will be destroyed and you will receive some of the Blessed Gems that had been used. ※ You will not be able to retrieve Gems if the item is only Transcendence Stage 1. ※ The contents above may be changed as results of patches. Extracting Items - You may remove Transcendence effects at the Blacksmith NPCs at either Klaipeda or Orsha. - Monsters will have a chance of dropping the Spell Rod which is required to remove Transcendence effects. ※ You may not retrieve Gems when removing Transcendence effects. - Right-click the Transcended item and the Spell Rod in your inventory. - All Transcendence effects will be removed and you will not be able to retrieve any Gems that you had used. - The color of the Star displayed on the item will change to yellow. ※ The contents above may be changed as results of patches.

Greetings, Saviors! You may remember the Luck of the Anvils event from earlier this year, where your goal was to enhance a magic Four Leaf Clover to the highest stage possible. If your luck wasn’t the best then and you’re looking to get revenge on those darned Clovers, look no further! In this spinoff active player event, you get to destroy them for new rewards every day, including Enhancement Coupons and precious Anvils! Event Period FROM the scheduled maintenance on November 14, 2017 TO the scheduled maintenance on December 12, 2017 Who Can Participate - Active players with characters of level 50 or higher - Returning players (last login before October 14) with characters of level 1 or higher How to Participate STEP 1. Every day during the event period, you can head out to your nearest Event Notice Board and receive one Shining Four Leaf Clover (one per team; resets at 00:00 server time). STEP 2. Each Shining Four Leaf Clover will start with a potential of 1. Your goal is to destroy the Clover through enhancement attempts by reducing its potential. Yes, it’s going to cost you a couple of anvils, but think of the rewards!! - The Shining Four Leaf Clover has a 100% success rate of enhancement only until +3. STEP 3. Every Shining Four Leaf Clover you destroy turns into a lucky Goddess Medal which you can exchange back at the Event Notice Board for rewards! The rewards vary according to your total of Medals exchanged (per team), so you can get a different set of items every day! - Timed rewards and event items cannot be traded or transferred via Team Storage, so make sure to receive them on the correct character. - Selecting the option to exchange Goddess Medals at the Event Notice Board will automatically exchange all the Goddess Medals your character has in their inventory at once. - EDIT (IMPORTANT): You must exchange one Medal per day in order to receive the different daily rewards. Exchanging more than one Medal at once will not give you the rewards for multiple days. Greetings, Saviors! The Holiday Season is back and Santa has made his way to the Kingdom. Unfortunately he can’t be everywhere at once, so why not give him a hand and deliver some well-deserved presents to the little boys and girls who were good this year? Don’t worry; Santa has a few gifts with your name on it, too! Event Period FROM the scheduled maintenance on December 19, 2017 TO the scheduled maintenance on January 9, 2017 Who Can Participate - Characters of level 50 and above How to Participate STEP 1. Hop over to your nearest Event Notice Board and receive one Present. You can receive one Present per day, per team (resets at midnight, server time). - You can only carry one Present at a time in your inventory, so you won’t be able to get another Present if you haven’t used your current one. STEP 2. Move to the location written on the Present and find the Good Kid to which it needs to be delivered. You should know, however, that the Kingdom’s children are absolute aces at hide-and-seek, so it won’t be that easy to find them. - You can go to the Event Notice Board or right-click the Present in your inventory to check the location of the child again. STEP 3. Once you find the Good Kid, deliver the Present in exchange for a Gift Box, which contains a prize of your choice! You can select one of the following prizes: - Instanced Dungeon Multiply Token (14 Days) x2 - Enchant Scroll (14 Days) x2 - EXP Tome (14 Days) x2 STEP 4. But wait! If you really want to impress the Good Kid, make sure to dress the part for an additional reward! The dungeon opens every hour at 00 minutes (01:00, 02:00, 03:00, etc.) and remains open for 15 minutes. - You can enter the event dungeon up to 3 times per day, per team (resets at 00:00, server time). - You can always enter the event dungeon as long as it is open and you have at least 1 entry left. - Entering the dungeon multiple times within the same time schedule (for example, entering two different times on the 01:00-01:15 schedule) will not count as multiple entries. - You cannot enter the event dungeon if your character is in a premade party. - Non-cosmetic items must be taken off before entering the dungeon. STEP 2. Upon entering the dungeon, you’ll be transported to “Creepy Klaipeda” and automatically obtain 5 Sugar Treats. Your goal there is to attack monsters and fellow Saviors in order to gain more Treats, while avoiding being attacked, which will subtract from your total of Treats. To do this, you can’t use your usual character skills; instead, you’ll have to use the event-exclusive Candy Dash skill and basic attacks (see Combat Rules). STEP 3. Monsters and other players won't be your only obstacles in Creepy Klaipeda. Inside the event dungeon, you will come across a type of beads on the ground with a circle around them. Step near the beads and, if you're carrying 150 Sugar Treats or more, 25% of your Treats will be consumed, while another 25% is dropped on the ground around you! STEP 4. If you manage to defeat the only Ghost Tini monster in the map, a red portal will appear for 15 seconds. Exit the dungeon through this portal and you will return to the city of Klaipeda with all the Sugar Treats you collected inside, which will be automatically converted into Odd Candies. If you don’t exit through the portal, you will only return to Klaipeda after the dungeon’s 15 minutes are up (your Sugar Treats will still be converted into Odd Candies). - You can also exit the dungeon through the Scaredy Scarecrow NPC, but in that case the Sugar Treats you collected inside will be consumed (deleted). STEP 5. After collecting Odd Candies from the event dungeon, exchange the Candies for different rewards at the Scaredy Scarecrow (see Rewards). Combat Rules 1) You will not be able to use skills or items inside the event dungeon. You also cannot bring in any Companions. 2) All players will use the same basic attack (Z key), which increases in range but also in cooldown and casting time whenever you gather over 50, 100 and 150 Sugar Treats. 3) The only skill you can use inside the dungeon is Candy Dash, a skill exclusive to this event dungeon. 4) Candy Dash does not deal damage. It increases your movement speed by 10 for 3 seconds. The cooldown is 6 seconds. 5) In order to gain Sugar Treats, you need to attack other players or monsters inside the event dungeon (Kepa, Popolion, Large Kepa, Halloween Witch). 6) You lose Sugar Treats every time you are attacked by players/monsters or use the Candy Dash skill. 7) No defense is applied inside the dungeon. Instead, your attack and HP are determined by the total amount of Sugar Treats you possess. Stats Inside the Dungeon - SUGAR TREATS: After entering the event dungeon, you receive a basic amount of 5 Sugar Treats. After that, your current amount will be displayed over your character. - ATTACK: 2 or less Sugar Treats equal an attack value of 1; after that, 1 attack is added for every 2 Sugar Treats (for example, having 9 Sugar Treats will give you a total attack of 4). - DEFENSE: Does not apply inside the event dungeon. - HP: Your HP equals the number of Sugar Treats you possess. Whenever you are attacked, your Treats drop according to the damage inflicted.
