[UPDATE] Known Issues: September 26, 2017

Greetings, Saviors. We are currently aware of the following issues. We will keep you updated on further procedures.   1) Players unable to use their Active Player Event Equipment Vouchers  Players have reported that they are unable to use the following equipment vouchers obtained from the Active Player Event: Guess to Impress.    1 = Savior's Top Voucher (14 Days) x1 2 = Savior's Accessory Voucher (14 Days) x1 3 = Savior's Bottom Voucher (14 Days) x1 4 = Savior's Accessory Voucher (14 Days) x1 5 = Savior's Boots Voucher (14 Days) x1 6 = Savior's Accessory Voucher (14 Days) x1 7 = Savior's Gloves Voucher (14 Days) x1   Due to this issue rather than choosing a weapon, you will now be able to obtain all of the event equipment items for the same 30 day period from the Event Notice Board.    2) Wheel-Chair Zombie Summons  We are aware that summoned Wheel-Chair Zombies are not rendering correctly.    3) Members of certain guilds being unable to login.   We're aware of and are looking into the issue where members of certain guilds being unable to login.  Please send us a ticket stating your guild name and your lastreplay file from the replay folder in your release folder.   Please let us know via Support Ticket if you are experiencing other problems. When reporting issues, please be as detailed as possible. Screenshots, character/team/server/class details and timestamps would be greatly appreciated. The more information we have on a specific issue, the quicker it will be resolved.

[SA] Adventure Journal Points Delayed to Oct 10

Greetings, Saviors. As you may know from the patch notes of today’s scheduled maintenance, this week’s big update includes the new version of the Adventure Journal, with new rewards for Growth and Exploration delivered based on your previous achievements. In order to apply this update to the game, all points obtained in those categories must be converted into the new point system in order for players to receive the corresponding rewards once they login after the maintenance. Unfortunately, processing that data in [SA] Silute is taking longer than expected, so we have decided to open the server WITHOUT applying the new Adventure Journal points for the time being. These points will be applied during the next scheduled maintenance on October 10, 2017. We would like to note that your Growth and Exploration point data is safely stored and intact (this includes your previous data as well as the new data generated after you log back into the server). We are merely delaying their application to the game in order to avoid denying access to the server any longer. We apologize for this issue and thank you for your patience while the new Adventure Journal point data is being processed.

[Fan Art Festival Results] Monster Mash

Greetings Saviors! It’s finally time to announce the winners of the Monster Mash Fan Art Festival! We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in this season’s spooky theme. We received some very interesting submissions ranging from evil monster-hunting saviors to tricks being played on unsuspecting TOS monsters. They were a fright to see and we were happily scared.  Now, as we mentioned before in the official Monster Mash announcement, this time the prizes included 500 TP + the next Goddess' Blessed Cube Costume + the In-Game Title ("Monster Inker") and, of course, your art as an in-game loading screen. Prizes will still be delivered via GM message during the scheduled maintenance of September 26th, however, the next Goddess' Blessed Cube Costume will be delivered to the winners when the Cube is officially announced. [COMPLETE] TOS' Companion Maker

Greetings Saviors! As we know from the Forums and Facebook, our Saviors have some of the cutest pets in the world. From dogs to hamsters, we have seen them all thanks to the pictures you uploaded for us. Well, after conferring with our Dev team we have come to a solid agreement:  One of these pets needs to become TOS' next companion. So this is your chance to set your pet on display for all to see, so that one lucky animal will go down in ToS history. Interested? Keep reading to find out how out how to participate.  Ten (10) lucky pets will be chosen for the opportunity based solely on user votes. However! The Dev team will decide who will be the one pet to become an in-game companion based on practicality and level of difficulty. Lucky for you, these top 10 pets will get the chance to submit more photos to melt our hearts before the final decision.  We will be accepting photo submissions from now until October 9th 00:00 EDT. And voting will commence from October 9th 01:00 EDT until October 15th 00:00 EDT. PRIZES INCLUDE:    300 TP + In-Game Title (“Companions for Life”) + the winning pet as a companion   Please keep in mind that we are expecting real photos of you and your companion. No drawings or images that infringe any copyrights. Owners of the top 10 pets will all receive the prizes however only one pet will become a TOS companion.    HOW TO ENTER:   STEP 1 → Log into the ToS Official Forum and in the newly created “Photo” category, upload up to 5 images of your pet along with your pet’s “Self-Introduction.”  Make sure the images and intro really capture the attractiveness and special appeal of your pet. Dev Interview: Random Item Stats

Greetings, Saviors! Our most recent dev teaser included a quick snippet about a new system of random stats on equipment items (previously introduced through the PvE roadmap) that sparked more than a little curiosity among players. We thought it was time to shed some light on this feature, so we met with the TOS developer in charge of the random stat system to find out how it can be used and what it really means for the game.   Staff: Hello, it’s such a pleasure to meet you! We’ve all been wondering about this random stat system since the PvE roadmap, and I was told you were the one to bother about it. IDev: Yes! I’m in charge of planning all things item-related for Tree of Savior. It’s nice to meet you, too. Staff: I see, we shall call you the I(tem)Dev, then. If you read any of the other Dev Interviews you’ll know I always find the most original nicknames for our devs. Moving on. I would like to start by asking how the random item stat system came to be, and what your intentions behind it were. IDev: Our goal with the random item stat system is to address the excessive gap that exists between equipment items, in terms of both difficulty of acquisition and actual performance. We believe that the random stat system can help make it easier for players to obtain better gear that fits their needs. Staff: I’m not sure I get it. In what way does the system make it easier for us to get better items? IDev: Currently in the game, it’s easy enough to get your hands on low-performance equipment. If you want to take your gear a step further, however, you either have to enhance/transcend your “okay” items to a high enough stage, or dedicate hours and hours to farming for the right materials. With the random item stat update, not only do equipment drop rates increase, but the items come to you in their finished state, so you have a better chance of finding gear you’re happy with. Staff: Okay, that makes sense. I was hoping you could also tell us, specifically, what is the maximum number of stats and sockets per equipment item under the new system? IDev: Hm… For this one I think it’s better if I show it to you in a table, hold on (*scribbling*). Here you go.   Type Sockets Stats One-handed weapons 3 1-4 Two-handed weapons 5 3-6 Armor 1 1-4 We’re still working out the details on accessory items so I don’t have that information yet, but in any case this is just our initial plan and it could suffer some changes before the system is actually applied to the game. Staff: So the number of stats allowed is different depending on the type of gear. In that case, what determines the maximum value of the item stats you get? Are you setting a maximum value based on the sum of all the item’s stats, or is it applied individually for each stat? IDev: The maximum value of each stat is going to be individually influenced by the item’s equip level and grade. Staff: I’m also curious to know if perhaps gear stats are going to have any influence on skill levels. IDev: We don’t have any plans to make that happen, no. But who knows, that could change in a future update. [WARNING - Fake item stats ahead.] <A girl can dream, can’t she? T^T> Staff: Fair enough. You mentioned in the PvE roadmap that players will need to identify the new items at an Appraiser in order to reveal their random stats. If that’s the case, will Appraisers with higher skill levels have any advantages in terms of what stats are revealed in the identified items? IDev: The Appraiser’s skill level is not going to influence the type of stats that get revealed in the item, but it will somewhat increase the chances of revealing a higher number of stats. Staff: I can see it’s going to be a good era for Appraisers… Speaking of the future, what other plans do you have for after the random stat system is implemented? IDev: Well, I don’t want to spoil too much – and please take this with a grain of salt – but if I were to summarize it in three words… Kite Moor, property resistance, Chaplain. Staff: I’m pretty sure that was more than three words… I’m not complaining, though. Whatever Kite Moor is, it sure sounds luxurious! And… those were all the questions I had for you.
