Achievement System Reorganization

Hello, this is Tree of Savior Dev. Team. This posting is about Achievement system adjustment.   Achievement reorganization will be about changes in the current UI and introducing a new system.  By changing the UI, we are trying to make the Achievement system convenient and easy to use. In addition, by adding a new Achievement system, we expect that saviors who use achievement content will enjoy a positive playing experience.      UI Adjustment   The achievement list, which could be checked via 'Character Info (F1)' before, will be joined with the 'Adventure Journal (F4)'.       <Currently Adjusting Achievement Window>       <Achievement / Adventure Journal tab>     Achievement is divided into 'Main Achievement', 'Contents Achievement', 'Special Achievement', and 'Event Achievement'.  Each category has sub-categories, and you can check the total progress and the reward status from the main window of the Achievement.     <Image of Achievement progress in the Main screen>     The achievements are classified again by the sub-category UI button at each main category. Achievements that savior can receive reward or Achievements with high progress will be exposed on the Achievement list.   You can receive every reward of the completed Achievement in the list via 'Receive All at Once' button below.     <Achievement in category tab>     Details of Achievement you've selected appears on the right side of the main category tab. 'Achievement title', 'Level', 'Progress', Receive Reward', 'Achievement Goal' and 'Achievement reward' will appear.   <Details of Achievement>     There are currently more than 300 Achievements including the Hidden Achievements, but it hasn't been easy to check the reward or title each Achievement gives.  With this adjustment, saviors will be able to search the Achievement they wish and check the details easily.   You can search for achievements by main category, sub-category, through the presence or absence of rewards and titles, and whether it is timed or not. In addition, you can check and receive rewards and register achievements without any action on the screen.     <Search Achievement Function>       System Adjustment     The Achievement Level system is added.   You can receive a certain amount of EXP by clearing the Achievement, and the level is determined according to the system.   Achievement Level affects various reward systems related to the Achievement contents. EXP is set for the existing Achievements, and the Achievement level will be calculated automatically according to the completed Achievement during the adjustment.     <Achievement Level and EXP>     You can receive Achievement Level Reward when reaching Achievement Level.     <Achievement Level Reward>     Achievement Item Exchange system will be added.   You can check it on the left bottom side of the main tab. The list will be renewed periodically, and you can exchange it for an item with in-game consumables.   Achievement Item Exchange list includes not only the consumable items but also items that once were provided at the events and Contents Point Shop. (Excludes the items in the TP shop) We expect that the saviors will be able to acquire the items they couldn't obtain anymore.     <Achievement Item Exchange>       Timed Achievement will be added.   Timed Achievement will be exposed in a certain period via UI, and you can only achieve these Achievements during that period. (When completing the Achievement within the period, the reward can be received regardless of term.)     <Timed Achievement>     When the Timed Achievement is near the ending period, the clock icon turns red.     <Timed Achievement near ending period>     The remaining time of Timed Achievement can be checked via details.     <Remaining time of Timed Achievement>       Rewards for existing Achievement will be added.   Previously, only the title was given as a reward for completing Achievements. But after this adjustment, Attribute Points and Goddess Token will be added as a reward.  You can receive this additional reward even if the Achievement is already cleared by pressing the 'Receive Reward' UI.     <Reward added to the existing Achievement>       Achievement Tracking system is added.   A maximum of 5 Achievements will be displayed on the main screen by selecting them from the Achievement window. By using this function, you can easily check the Achievement status without opening the UI.     <Achievement Tracking - Register>     <Achievement Tracking - Main Screen>       Play newly added Achievement contents   After the Achievement adjustment, you need to check the Level system.   The Achievement level is a measure of the overall Achievement progress and is a standard for all reward systems related to the Achievement. In order to increase the Achievement level, you need to gain EXP by clearing the Achievement.       <Gain EXP by clearing Achievement>   You can proceed with the Achievements by selecting various ways such as tracking and clearing Achievements with high progress, clearing Achievement with high reward EXP, and clearing quests or contents altogether.     <You can register Achievement Tracking according to your playing goal>   While enjoying the Achievement Content, you'll be able to receive rewards in 3 ways.     <Individual Achievement Reward>   First, you can receive rewards for Individual Achievement. Additional reward besides the Title is added to not only the new Achievements but the already existing Achievements.   <Achievement Level Reward>   Secondly, you can receive rewards according to the Achievement Level. You can helpful items will be given out as rewards when reaching a certain level. (1 time per team)     <Example of items from Achievement Item Exchange>   You can purchase the items from Achievement Item Exchange according to the Achievement Level.       Goal for the New Achievement and Achievement Contents   New Achievement will be added. 'Achievement: Challenge Mode clear' will be expanded. 'Achievement: Challenge Mode: Division Singularity' will be expanded. 'Achievement: Clear Remnants of Bernice certain stage' will be added. 'Achievement: Clear Remnants of Bernice total certain stage' will be added. 'Achievement: Clear Demonic Sanctuary: Legend (Party) total certain stage' will be added. 'Achievement: Clear Res Sacrae Raid: Auto Match (Hard) total certain stage' will be expanded. 'Achievement: Clear Assister Dungeon certain stage' will be added.     Some of the newly added Achievements will be applied retroactively according to the accumulated play data. We will continuously update the Achievements when new contents are updated so that it can help players enjoy playing the game and receive more rewards.     Goddess Token (Gabija) will be given as an additional reward for the New Achievement. By adding Goddess Token (Gabija) as a reward for new Achievements, we expect that it varifies the supply of Goddess Token (Gabija) and it leads players to enjoy the game. Event Achievement will be added. Event Achievements are mostly timed. You can complete the event Achievement by activities related to the current event, and you can receive event coins or items that help the event, title, etc as a reward.       <Image of Event Achievement>     <Event Achievement Title>       This concludes the announcement of Achievement Adjustments.  There may be changes when it is applied to the live server.       Thank you.

[UPDATE] Guilds Facing Issues Logging In

Greetings, Saviors! Please let us know via the ticket system if your guild is still experiencing issues logging in after the Temporary Maintenance on September 29, 2017. It will help us resolve the issue much faster if you provide your 'lastreplay' file from the following directory: Steam/steamapps/common/TreeOfSavior/release/replay  Please note that you do not have to use the F12 function to record anything. The file will be automatically created. Thank you.    [UPDATE] You may want to check if your client revision is "175015". You can check your revision number in the 'revision.txt' file at the following directory : /SteamLibrary/ steamapps/ common/ TreeOfSavior/ release If your revision number is not "175015", it means that you do not have the latest version and will need to re-download the client. [UPDATE 2] It may take up to 5 minutes on the loading screen to properly log-on to the game. The screen may also turn white like it is not responding. We would like to humbly ask that you try waiting on the loading screen for a few minutes before closing the client.

NPC Profile - Plague Doctor Master

Plague Doctor Master - Philip Aureolus     "Plague Doctors don't depend solely on the grace of the goddesses for their healing powers. We also use human medicine, which means we are able to cure ailments other clerics cannot."  Who is Philip Aureolus? Philip Aureolus is both a cleric and a healer. However, his curing technique differs greatly from his peers in that it does not rely solely on the divine grace and power of the Goddess. As a Plague Doctor he cures using both the Goddesses' divine forces and the lessons he has gained through vigorous scientific research. Yet, this is not to say that he does not find comfort in their grace and strength. Instead he, as well as other Plague Doctors, simply set their minds to maximize the effectiveness of treatments that could utilize the fruits of human medical research. However, before Medzio Diena, this work was not widely accepted.  After Medzio Diena?  When disaster stuck after Medzio Diena, many illnesses appeared that clerics were unable to manage on their own. Through this strife, Philip Aureolus and other Plague Doctors rose to importance. After the disappearance of the Goddesses, it was clear that the World needed to look elsewhere for additional medical help and the role of Plague Doctors became ever more important.  As a result, as clerics with both a background in the teachings of the Goddesses and the lessons learned from practical medical research, the Plague Doctor’s existence became a necessity.  Now, Aureolus, in order to reduce the World’s dependence on the Goddess’ power, has doubled his efforts and has increased the amount of groundbreaking research done during his time as master. As the need for Aureolus’ work continues, he also sets his mind on fostering other Plague Masters to continue in his footsteps.    While you are here, feel free to take a look at our previous article about the true history of the Plague Doctor.

[Fan Art Festival Results] 4 New Classes Edition

  Greetings Saviors!  It’s time, once again, to announce the winners of the Rank Update: 4 New Classes Fan Art Festival! As always, we greatly appreciate all the hardworking artists who took the time to participate in this season’s theme. It was heartwarming to see how you, the players, envisioned the new TOS classes. Some pieces focused on love, some on the bond between student and teacher, and others simply on looking so amazingly cool! But all of the pieces gave a look into what aspects of the new classes you guys find impressive -- and that made this Fan Art Festival even more fun for us.  Anyway, as we mentioned before in the official Rank Update: 4 New Classes announcement, prizes include: 500 TP + the next Goddess' Blessed Cube Costume + the In-Game Title ("New Class Artist") and, of course, your art as an in-game loading screen. Official GTW Guide 3 – Strategies and Tips

Strategies and Tips   Paths to the Spot Area There are only three Spot Areas in total, but each of them is connected to multiple maps, which allows for different approaches to the battle. Guilds can split and divert the attention of the enemy while the main forces carry on, or enter together for a combined attack. Invincibility Buff Upon entering a Spot Area, your character gains a temporary invincibility buff that lasts for 5 seconds unless you move, jump, or use a skill or basic attack. This protects players when they are entering the Spot Area and allows guilds to move more systematically. Expanded View Your view is expanded within all Spot Area maps, meaning you can zoom out further than you would in regular maps. This gives you a better perception of the full scale of the battle and lets you catch your enemy’s movements earlier. Respawning in GTW After becoming incapable of combat inside a Spot Area, you have multiple options for how and where you can respawn.   Requirements Respawn Location Options (default) Goddess Statue in a nearby city (automatic after 30 seconds) Having a Guild Tower Guild Tower Having a Base Camp installed by a Squire in your party Squire Base Camp Receiving the effects of Resurrection On the spot Using a Mysterious Crystal Receiving the effects of a Wide Resurrection Scroll   Using different respawn options makes combat generally more unpredictable, but it provides a good chance to turn the flow of the battle in your favor. Seizing Strategies Attacking guilds need to collect points in order to seize the Spot, and there are two ways of doing so. You can stay within the parameter of the Territory Tower and gain points per second according to your number of guild members on the Spot, or you can destroy one of the Amplifiers spread throughout the map to instantly gain 200 points. The defending guild, on the other hand, can reduce the points of the attacking guilds every second by staying near the Tower. Ultimately, the advantage goes to the guild with the most organized reactions to both the combat by the Tower and the Amplifier situation. Kicking Enemies to the City When the Spot is seized during a GTW session, all members not of the seizing guild are kicked to a nearby city. The new defending guild can use this time to place themselves inside the Spot Area according to their strategy, and attacking guilds can also prepare a new approach from the outside. Tactical Elements in the Spot Area There is a variety of tactical elements you can use inside the Spot Area.   Element Requirements Effects Territory Amplifiers Dealing the last blow (attacking guilds only) +200 points Damage and movement speed buff Boss Monsters Dealing the last blow (attacking guilds only) Damage taken reduced and immunity to knockback/knockdown GTW Items Using the item Installing combat objects and other beneficial effects Tree Root Crystals Dealing the last blow Different buffs according to the type of crystal   Class Strategies Every class has strong points that can give them an advantage in GTW combat. Here are some examples. 1) Templar Templars are not just strong support characters in GTW, they are the best battle leaders. Templar skills reach not just party members but guild members as well, so they are a valuable piece in keeping the guild strong and united. 2) Squire Squires are a crucial part of team if your guild wants to target multiple Spot Areas at once. When a Squire in your party installs a Base Camp, you can choose to respawn there if you become incapable of combat inside the GTW map. This allows you to quickly return to the battlefield or join the attack on a different Spot Area. 3) Scout All Scout-tree classes can learn the Cloaking skill, which is extremely useful for assessing your enemy’s strategy. Knowing in advance what your rivals are planning and how they are moving gives you a major advantage in battle. 4) Mounted Classes Only some classes can summon and mount Companions inside Spot Areas. One of the most decisive factors in the battlefield is mobility, so your guild’s mounted forces will always be an important part of the combat. GTW Restrictions The following is a list of restrictions that apply within all Spot Area maps. 1) Classes that can summon and mount Companions - Cataphract - Falconer - Hackapell - Hunter - Lancer - Schwarzer Reiter - Templar 2) Restricted skills (cannot be used) - Base Camp - Briquetting - Enchant Armor - Equipment Maintenance - Forgery - Gem Roasting - Identify - Item Awakening - Magnum Opus - Oblation - Portal - Portal Shop - Repair - Spell Shop - Switch Gender 3) Restricted consumables (cannot be used) - Anvil (all kinds) - Basic Warp Scroll - Blue Orb (all kinds) - Challenge Portal Scroll - EXP Card (all kinds) - Guild Tower - Monster Card Album (all kinds) - Popup Book (all kinds) - Red Orb (all kinds) - Skill Scroll (Barrier): restricted only within the Tower perimeter - Soul Crystal - Warp Scroll Note: - Elixir cooldown applies as 60 seconds. - Dispeller and Omamori cooldown applies as 30 seconds. 4) Restricted buffs (can be used, but characters under these buffs will not count towards gaining/reducing points) - Annihilation - Burrow - Cloaking - Mijin no Jutsu - Shadow Pool - Stop

(May 15th 23:59 EDT) Starting from 0:00 16th of May 2017 until 22th of May 2017 we will have a vote on going and grace period for checking IP theft! Now it is the time for us to choose for the champions!  ※After this grace period, if the artist confirmed to be related to IP theft, we will deprive the title. Again, at this festival, total 13 pieces will be chosen.  - 7 pieces will be picked by User Vote by receiving the most "Like" by the Forum Users. - 6 pieces will be picked by Staffs but with each Staff's personal decision. - The Staff pick will be made after the User pick is completed and will not overlap each other.  You could find the list to give a like vote "here"   When voting for the art piece, don't forget the general rules!
