[Goddess' Glory] Theme Survey

Particle Effect Optimization
Hello everyone, this is Tree of Savior Dev. team. This posting is about particle effect optimization. The performance of the client has improved a lot through 64-bit migration, DirectX 11 update&optimization, but the multi-core performance was not fully utilized. One of the most crowded tasks to the single-core was particle effects. Tree of Savior, where many monsters appear and multiple hit-type skills exist, improving the performance of particle effects was the biggest task. In addition, since the particle effect engine only allowed up to 8,192 particle effects, there was a problem that the effect could not fully appear when many effects occurred. We have increased the maximum effects to 32,768 by improving the engine, but as the number of effects increased, the frame dropped. To solve this problem, improvements were made to make full use of multi-cores for updating and expressing particles. With this improvement, we have verified that the frame remained similar even when the particle count limit was increased by 4 times. <Screenshot for comparison> ▲ Frame dropped - limit by 8,192 in the previous engine ▲ Frame dropped - limit by 32,768 in the previous engine ▲ Frames maintained - limit by 32,768 in the new engine We expect that a stable frame will be maintained even when playing 4 times more effects than before, and all particles that have been omitted in the past will be displayed normally. Additionally, with the improved particle output capability, particle scene can be richer which leads us to expect that the quality of various skills and effects will be improved. This particle optimization patch was applied during the scheduled maintenance on November 9. We will continue to work on creating interesting game scenes by continuously improving the engine and low-quality effects. Thank you.

Offer her 50,000 silvers and she might grant you with costumes by chance! - Even if you don’t get the costumes, you can exchange them with Demon God's Temptation Points collected by each offering. - 1 Demon God’s Temptation point will be given per each offering without reward. - Demon God's Temptation event items are sorted as [Legend/Unique/Magic] rank. Item Rank Details Legend Rank - Wings/Effect/Doll item will be given as a form of package. - No limits on the obtainable number of items. Unique Rank - Costume item will be given as a form of package. - No limits on the obtainable number of items. Magic Rank - Costume item will be given as a form of package. - No limits on the obtainable number of items. STEP 3. Go to the [Demon God's Temptation Points Store] and buy costumes by using Demon God's Temptation Points. ※ Items in the Demon God's Temptation Point Shop will be deleted at the following dates. Sweet: October 5, 2021 Criminal: November 9, 2021 STEM: December 7, 2021 TOSummer: January 4, 2022 Drip Drop: February 8, 2022 Good ol'days: March 8, 2022 Important - Consume Demon God's Temptation Points to exchange with the items in the Point Store. Points can be shared between teams. - Costume selection box from the [Demon God's Temptation] event can be exchanged into Demon God's Temptation Points. - Items from the Demon God's Temptation Points Store are not included in the number of acquisition limits per server. - [Wings/Effect/Doll] items exchanged from Demon God's Temptation Point Shop are given as a form of item, and [Costume] is given as a form of package. Known Issue: February 25, 2020
Greetings, Saviors! The following issues have come to our attention. - The issue where the Sandra's Magnifier Large Box of Leticia's secret Cube is Sandra's Magnifier Box. The devs are currently aware and working to resolve the issues. We will inform you by updating this announcement when the issues have become resolved. [SA] Known Issues: April 4, 2018
Greetings, Saviors. The following issues have recently been reported. 1) Lag and Instability in [SA] Silute - Players in [SA] Silute have reported frequent lag and other server instability issues occurring on the server. Upon checking the server's condition, we have noted no apparent cause of instability in [SA] Silute. If you are being affected by lag and instability issues, kindly report them through a support ticket with information about your location, system specs and most importantly a video of the occurrence (you can upload the video on a platform like YouTube and include the link to it in your ticket), so we can investigate the problem further. Please let us know via Support Ticket if you are experiencing other problems. When reporting issues, please be as detailed as possible. Screenshots, character/team/server/class details and timestamps will be greatly appreciated. The more information we have on a specific issue, the quicker it will be resolved.
