Team Battle League Adjustment and Mount System

  Hello, this is Tree of Savior Developer. This post is about a Team Battle League adjustment and Mount System.       Team Battle League   Change Map, 5 vs 5, Healer Distribution   ▲ 5 vs 5 Team Battle League Map   The combat map will be changed from a narrow circled stadium to a wide squared stadium. Also, 3 vs 3 3 wins from 5 combat is changed to 5 vs 5 2 wins from 3 combats. Because the game has a large performance variation depending on the team combination, a 3 vs 3 match in a narrow stadium has a high chance to have the win or loss decided, and the burden of one player's role was also big.    In new Team Battle League, the burden against one player can be lighter, and the Healer will be distributed to each team. This system does not match the number of Healers exactly the same, but distributes the Healers from 10 players to each team first and then distributes other players (one team can have 1 more healer).      Healer in this post means a character with 1 or more following classes in the build. : Priest, Kabbalist   Even you don't use Heal nor the related equipment, you will be targeted to be distributed as Healer if you have the class in your build. (It may be changed/adjusted.)   You can now see the battle not by sitting in the location of the stand, but with the newly added Free Camera and Character Focus Camera when you access watch mode. The stand is no longer accessible, so characters in combat cannot go to the stand during the battle by warp or so.     Character Change System   Character Change System is a system that enables to change the character to another character in the Lodge when the round ends in the Team Battle League.   ▲ Character Change System   If multiple characters are set, you can change to another character after the round. The character you want to change must be ready since you cannot hand over the equipment equipped to the character. Character cannot be changed during combat. Changing Character is not mandatory, so there is no problem with participating even when you have only 1 character.   When the Change Character System settles in, we are considering holding [The King Of Saviors], which is a weekly league where participants prepare at least 3 characters to change when the character becomes incapable of combat during a single round.  We are also planning for a PvE content using this character-changing function.   Reward   When the Team Battle League ends, seasonal coin Goddess Token (Gabija) will be given, and coin that can purchase exclusive reward for Team Battle League will also be given. Reward will differ greatly according to victory or loss, and MVP will receive rewards regardless of the outcome.   Because you can change the character in Team Battle League, the score and reward will be set as a team. With the adjustment, new achievements and titles will be given.       PVP Balance Adjustment   PVP Balance will be adjusted with this adjustment and adjust little by little as frequently as possible.   Team Battle League Adjustment   Every equipment's ENH and TRA value will be set equally and the level will be calculated as 460. Other weapons and Armor will be applied as same.   AoE Defense Ratio will be fixed to 2 (Summon Boss: 2, others: 1, companion: 0), and every AoE Attack Ratio/AoE Defense Ratio of item stat that character and companion have won't be applied. When the character's AoE Attack Ratio is 4 and skill's AoE Attack Ratio is 5 (after PVP adjustment), the corresponding attack will be just 9 so that it can attack 4 characters.     Skill/Item Performance Adjustment   PVP adjustment is also for skill and items. The following effect is applied to each Team Battle League and Guild Territory War.   Category Team Battle League Guild Territory War Res Sacrae RP consumption in PvP is changed from 50% to 100% RP Consumption is fixed to 50% in PvP Charist Set Stat Buff Duration: 15 seconds Cooldown: 5 minutes (resets when the next round starts) No change Essera Set Stat Buff Duration: 12 seconds + 5 seconds (Dragon Strength)Cooldown: 5 minutes (resets when the next round starts) No change Rideti Set Stat Cooldown: 80 seconds Max. Range: 150 Cooldown: 80 seconds Max. Range: 150 Prophecy No change   Immune to debuff applied for 10 seconds Beak Mask The mask gets off when you block the debuff 10 times and Cooldown applies. No change Resurrection Reincarnate Backmasking Cooldown: 15 minutes (resets when the combat ends) No change Revive Cooldown: 15 minutes (resets when the combat ends) Buff Duration: 10 seconds   Besides these, there will be adjustments for skills.       Mount (working title)   Mount System for moving convenience and content will be added. You can receive mounts from new content's achievement. Mount basically has fast Movement Speed and has its own special ability. Mount is faster than the companion and when moving the area, the mounting status maintains. We are planning to update the Mounts consistently so that it can help players to play content.     Feature of Mount   Mount has following features and the main mounting class can get the effect of the Mount in a different way.     Mount How to Use Summon the mount by the Mounted skill in the common tab of Skills & Attributes(F3). Movement Speed +8 ※ Faster than Christmas Sled (+6) Move Area You can move the area while mounted Special Function When you set after obtaining the Mount, Special Function that helps content activates. Others Skills other than Mounted (Dismount) can't be used while mounted. ※ When the class that can combat while mounted, gets on the Mount while mounted on the companion, the effect of Mount applies with mounted on the companion and combat skill cannot be used. Can be Mounted while dismounted like other characters.     How to receive Mount   For 3 new Mounts which will be updated in the near future, they are going to be given as a reward of achievement for high-difficulty content. Mount provides useful effects for content with a special appearance, and to have Mount with you will give rareness just like the title. Thus, a new achievement that gives Mount as a reward will be added to Heroic Tale, Bounty Hunt, and Saint's Sacellum according to a certain record. ※ Achievement that you can receive Mount will be separate from the previous accumulated Achievement Point.   ▲ New Mount: Helio Griffin   Also, besides the permanent Mount that you can receive via Achievement, we are planning to provide periodic Mount as a reward for events or New/Returning players, and planning Mount with a fun appearance for Goddess' Cube.     Usage of Mount   Mount for this first update has a special function related to Bounty Hunt such as increase Movement Speed, increase damage to the wanted or boss monster, evade attack from wanted monster, mark boss monster's attack, etc. Also, new Written Order that can trace stronger monsters will be added.       Guild Community Adjustment   Guild Community will be changed from board type to channel type. The developer is looking forward to that saviors can easily share information and interest with guild members with this change.   ▲ What the Guild Community will look like     Channelized Group Chat   Guild members with channel creation authority can add channels and guild members who want to enter the Group Chat can select the channel to join the chat. Also, you can use the shortcut function to expose it on the upper side so that you can check the channel afterward.   ▲ How to enter Guild Community Group Chat     Notice Function per Channel   Each channel can show the important content by the Notice function every time and multiple notices can be registered. With this function, participants of the channel can easily check on the history and rules of the channel.   ▲ Notice is always on the upper side.     On/Off mark of the channel participants   Guild member who participated on the channel can check the members and their current logged-in status by Channel Member List.   ▲ Channel Member List     Use Channelized Guild Community   With channelized Guild Community, you can communicate with more variety issues than the Guild Community in form of board. You can share the history and rules of the guild with the new member and share different information on how to win content channel, trade channel, etc with members in a different playing time.   Also, you can debate important agenda about guild by making private channel with Guild Masters or manager.       Weekly Boss Raid Update     The title will be given to the 1st rank player of each class. Because one character can have up to 3 classes (besides basic class), if you become 1st rank of tree class, all titles of 3 classes will be given. When Ranger-Fletcher-Mergen class user won 4th place of Archer and 4th on Ranger, 1st for Fletcher, 2nd for Mergen, only Master of Fletcher title will be given.     Also, a new boss is going to join the Weekly Boss Raid. 1 Regular boss of Weekly Boss Raid will be added periodically with each appearance item, title, and trophy.   This is all for the preview of Team Battle League Adjustment and Mount System. The Lore You Know: Matador

The Matador is the star performer in bullfighting, using both a cape and sword to bring down a raging bull. This spectacle is one of the most well-known but also one of the most controversial customs of Spanish culture. However, today we will simply take a look at the history of the Matador -- to see how this practice came into existence and how the role of the Matador is reflected in our game.    It’s possible that the first recorded bullfight may have been from the Epic of Gilgamesh, where Gilgamesh dreams that he and his friend Enkidu stalked and hunted the Bull of Heaven and offered its heart to the sun god, Shamash. This act was a form of bull worship and animal sacrifice common in Mesopotamia and the Mediterranean region and is where bullfighting can trace its roots. Then it was seen again in the amphitheaters of Rome, where there were many human verses animal events during the rule of Emperor Claudius as a substitution for the short-lived ban on gladiatorial combat. Later in Medieval Spain, bullfighting was seen as a noble sport reserved only for the rich. And, while Spanish colonist took the practice of breeding cattle to the American colonies, the Pacific and Asia, areas of southern and southwestern France developed their own style of bullfighting.      The practice of fighting the bull on foot and with the flourishing of a cape and sword was developed by the matador, Francisco Romero, in Spain in 1726. During this time he introduced the world to the muleta, a stick with a red cloth hanging from it that is used during the third stage of bullfighting to hide the matador’s sword. The muleta is used to attract the bull through a series of passes. But it was the matador, Juan Belmonte, in 1914 who upped the ante and introduced the modern practice of skillfully using the muleta to get even closer to the bull’s horns than matadors before him had ever dared to do. From then on forward, matadors stopped using footwork to escape injury and risked their lives by letting the horns just barely glide past them as they directed the bull with the use of the muleta.     Now it is important to note that the muleta is different from the capote. The capote is magenta on one side and yellow on the other. It weighs between seven and nine pounds and will stand upright like a pyramid when placed on the ground in the right way. As mentioned before, while the muleta is used during the final stages of the bullfight, the capote is used during the “opening passes” where the bull enters the arena and the matador teaches the bull to follow the cape. If the passes done by the matador impresses the crowd, they will be rewarded with shouts of "Ole!"     Although bullfighting is controversial, it is still considered an art form, a tradition, and a highly ritualized cultural event. The matadors work to create an emotional connection with the audience and execute various formal moves during the fight that have not only meaning but also names that allude to the matador’s specific style and school of training. Upcoming Remake: Sadhu

      Hello, this is Tree of Savior Dev. team. This posting is about adjustments for Sadhu and Cleric Class.   New Master's Request - Remake Class [Sadhu]   There will be a remake for Sadhu. New Master's Request will also be added along with the remake. Title for Achievement and Common Costume can be received as a reward.         Some people enter the clerical service through learning, but sometimes they are chosen as a person to convey the providence of the Goddess through grace.  The Sadhu is a group that has been handpicked by the goddesses and trained to serve them directly in our world. They are more shamanistic in nature and are masters of dreams and sleep.   With long Penance, Sadhu can control their spirit by applying various power. Spirit can move freely and confuses the enemy.     Sadhu Sadhu is a Cleric class that damages the enemy with [Holy] magic by using the spirit. Sadhu can afflict status ailments by controlling the spirit directly and can use other class' skills. Also, they can go through the obstacles in PVP. By using the Arts [Spirit Expert: Wandering Soul], you can make it cast the Sadhu skill automatically without control. But the function that gives the Status Ailments to the enemy is removed. The details for Arts Enhance and Enhanced Upgrade are not written and the details may change when applying it to the live.    Spirit Expert    Gets very weak to the Holy Magic damage when the Sadhu controls the spirit but becomes immune to other damages.  There are limits on the number of strikes for immunity.  Spirit returns to the body when consuming all counts and becomes easily exposed to the enemy's attack periodically.  Other class skills can be used in spirit status but there are limits for usage.  When controlling the spirit in PvP areas, the spirit can go through obstacles.    Spirit Expert: Wandering Soul    Sadhu does not control the spirit directly but the spirit freely goes to the nearby enemies to attack.   The factors that distract the enemy's movement are removed.     Prakriti    Spirit continuously damages the enemy in a certain area and distracts the movement.    Prakriti: Penance    Apply debuff that spirit gives more pain to the enemy.    Possession    Creates barrier near the spirit to damage the enemy and stops the enemy's movement inside the barrier.    Enira    Blows wind in front of the spirit to push enemies back and attack    Tanoti    The chain comes out near the spirit and pulls the enemy to attack.    Patati    Make a big impact near the spirit and knocks down the enemy to attack.    Moksha    Spirit absorbs the near energy and a big explosion occurs. <Vaivora Vision -  Agni> [Lv1 Effect] - When Enira is activated, fires a flame in front and apply [Agni: Flame] debuff to the enemies for 10 seconds. - Enemy under [Agni: Flame] debuff gets continuous damage by 30% of damage applied per 1 second, and the damage received by the caster increases by 20%. [Lv4 Effect] - Doubles the number of continuous hits of Moksha ※ Item Stat will be announced later.     Cleric Class Balance Adjustment   Plague Doctor Because Incineration is a skill that applied debuff to the enemy to damage, there isn't meaning but only the duration renews when using Incineration for a short time even though there are 2 overheats.  In order to solve this problem, it is changed to bring out the deal of Incineration by driving them all together on the first cast, and the Insufficient range of Plague Doctor will also be improved. Incineration  Function that increases damage by 30% when attacking the enemy under Black Death Steam with Incineration will be deleted.    Function will be changed as follows.   - Before : Increases damage by 10% per 1 debuff (max. 10 debuffs)   - After : Increases final damage by 10% per 1 debuff (max. 5 debuffs)    Overheat will be changed from 2 to 1.  Number of targets will be changed from 4 to 8.    Skill factor will be changed.    - Before : 238 + [skill level -1] * 40.6 (total: 806)    - After : 317 + [skill level -1] * 52.9 (total: 1057)    Range will be doubled.  Black Death Steam  Range will be doubled.   Crusader Damage will increase. Condemn  Skill factor will be adjusted.   - Before : 1112 + [skill level -1] * 288.8 (total: 3711)    - After : 1656 + [skill level -1] * 429.8 (total: 5524) Sacred  Skill factor will be adjusted.    - Before : 650 + [skill level -1] * 169 (total: 2171)    - After : 975 + [skill level -1] * 253 (total: 3252) Protection of Goddess  Skill factor will be adjusted.    - Before : 1340 + [skill level -1] * 1340.4 (total: 6701)    - After : 1785 + [skill level -1] * 1786 (total: 8929)Cooldown will be changed from 45 seconds to 35 seconds.   Miko Attack skill factor will be improved and new Vaivora Vision will be added. Rubric  Function will be changed as follows.    - Before : When Rubric is cast over Aqua Benedicta, enemies within half-range of Aqua Benedicta receive equal damage as Rubric by a maximum of 25% chance when farther away the distance is and 25% chance when the hit is critical.   - After : When Rubric is cast over Grand Cross, it is applied as 2 consecutive hits.  Entity  Function that amplifies Hamaya with Entity will be deleted.     Aqua Benedicta   Skill factor will be adjusted.    - Before : 312 + [skill level -1] * 52 (total: 1040)    - After : 440 + [skill level -1] * 73.4 (total: 1467) Grand Cross  Tile duration will be changed from 2.5 seconds to 5 seconds.   Damage gap will be changed from 0.5 seconds to 1 second.     Skill factor will be adjusted.    - Before : 537.6 + [skill level -1] * 239.2 (total: 2690)    - After : 1653 + [skill level -1] * 428.6 (total: 5510) Katadikazo  Skill factor will be adjusted.    - Before : 896 + [skill level -1] * 897.2 (total: 4484)    - After : 1017 + [skill level -1] * 1018 (total: 5089) [Arts] Katadikazo: Flame Spear  Following function will be deleted:  - When Grand Cross is on the fire tile, a holy explosion occurs and damages enemies in range with Holy property proportionally to the Grand Cross factor.   Monk Distributes the focus of the deal only on the Energy Blast and the function of Monk: Nirvana will be changed. Vaivora Vision - Thunder Kick  Vaivora Vision - Thunder Kick will no longer involve Breaking Wheel to the target. [Arts] Monk: Nirvana  Function is changed as follows.   - When attacking the enemy with Monk skill, [Golden Bell Shield: Carve] buff stacks up to 20.   - If [Golden Bell Shield] is on Cooldown when 20 stacks, [Golden Bell Shield: Unity] buff is afflicted for 5 seconds.   - When afflicted by [Golden Bell Shield: Unity], [Golden Bell Shield] skill resets.   - Reset gap cannot be shorter than the Cooldown of [Golden Bell Shield], and [Golden Bell Shield: Carve] buff cannot be received.   - When casting [Golden Bell Shield] during the [Golden Bell Shield: Unity] buff, [Golden Bell Shield: Freedom] buff that increases final physical damage of Monk by 15% is afflicted for 30 seconds. Golden Bell Shield  Function will be changed as follows.    - Temporarily increases the damage of Monk skill.    - Player becomes immune to all removable debuffs during the buff's duration.     Inquisitor Distributes the dependency of  Breaking Wheel and will improve the skill cycle. Breaking Wheel   Skill factor is adjusted.    - Before : 186 + [skill level -1] * 31.2 (total: 622)    - After : 191 + [skill level -1] * 49.6 (total: 637)     Master level is changed from 15 to 10. Cooldown is changed from 45 seconds to 25 seconds. Breaking Wheel: Additional Damage  Additional range damage will be changed from 100% to 10%.   Strike limit of 20 times will be deleted.   Additional damage will only activate for the physical attack of the caster. Ripper  Cooldown will be changed from 55 seconds to 50 seconds.   Time spent until the first strike will be decreased by 66%. God Smash  Skill factor will be adjusted.    - Before : 672 + [skill level -1] * 112.3 (total: 2244)    - After : 978 + [skill level -1] * 163.1 (total: 3261) Judgment  Buff Duration will be changed from 60 seconds to 30 minutes.  Duration of debuff to the enemy will be changed to 30 seconds. Judgment: Summary Decision  Function will be changed as follows.    - Before:  [Judgment] is changed as a debuff for the enemy.  Removes additional damage of Holy property, attack received from the caster is changed to be judged as Demon property      - After:  Additionally applies [Judgment: Summary Decision] that lasts for 10 seconds when attacking the enemy during [Judgment].  When the enemy under [Judgment: Summary Decision] debuff is attacked by the caster, the attack is judged as Demon type. Malleus Maleficarum  Skill casting time will be decreased by 50%.  Cooldown will be changed from 28 seconds to 25 seconds.   Zealot Skills with smaller rewards compared to the penalty will be adjusted and the skill delay will be improved. Immolation  Skill factor will be adjusted.   - Before : 733 + [skill level -1] * 122.3 (total: 2445)   - After : 1055 + [skill level -1] * 176 (total: 3519)    Function will be added.    - When you're burning, Zealot's minimum critical rate increases by 20%. Skill casting time will be decreased by 30%. Fanaticism  Function that decreases HP recovery by 20% will be deleted. Fanatic Illusion  Skill factor will be adjusted.    - Before : 420 + [skiill level -1] * 108.9 (total: 1400)    - After : 531 + [skill level -1] * 137.7 (total: 1770)     Skill casting time will be decreased by 30%. Beady Eyed  Buff Duration will be changed from 10 seconds to 30 seconds. Blind Faith  Function will be changed as follows.   - Before:  Consumes 50% of your remaining SP to deal additional holy property damage during the duration.     - After:  Consumes 5% of maximum SP to attack by making a powerful impact nearby.  Shocked enemy increases Sp by 2 times of the SP consumed by the caster.    Skill factor will be applied.    - 1875 + [skill level -1] * 486.1 (total: 6249) x 5 Emphatic Trust  Skill factor will be adjusted.    - Before : 384 + [skill level -1] * 385 (total: 1924)    - After : 485 + [skill level -1] * 485 (total: 2425)   This concludes the Sadu and Cleric Class Adjustments.     NEXT       Next posting will be about the new Archer class and adjustments for some Archer classes.   Thank you.

Upcoming Update: Episode 14-1 / Search Party Board

    Hello, This is Tree of Savior Dev. team. In this post, we are going to introduce the contents that will be added during the next big update.       Episode 14: Advent of Chaos     With Episode 14-1 update, 5 new areas and the main quest will be added in Orsha. Also, the maximum level of the character will be expanded to 470.     To the Beholder, To the Delmore   The place where refugees, who flocked to avoid catastrophe, sacrificed themselves for the Kruvina experiment by the lord, who made a secret deal with the demons. You saviors have finally discovered that Delmore is the Beholder's Stronghold.   Revival of the kingdom, soon to begin again   The lord of Orsha Inesa Hamondale has sent the evidence of the Kruvina experiment that was secured through the actions of the saviors to the royal family. Finally, the Royal Army, whose path was ambiguous after Medzio Diena, began to move. The first thing to reclaim the lost lands and restore the reputation of the fallen kingdom, the Royal Army led by General Ramin march towards Delmore.       Toward BattleField…   Delmore Hamlet, where many refugees passed to go to Delmore as in other towns on the Medzio Diena, has become the first battlefield for the Royal Army and enemies who joined the Beholder. Royal Army has already broken through this place easily, but the Centurion Master and some of his soldiers remain and continue the battle, waiting for the saviors to come.       Become a Hero in Tussle   Scattered soldiers are still struggling to survive on the battlefield. However, the enemies who joined the Beholder due to having their hometown invaded, show no sign of retreating either. As you saviors, you must jump into the tussle throughout Delmore Manor and gather the scattered soldiers.       Hero of Victory   Eventually, you encounter the Pajauta who has been waiting for you at the Delmore Outskirts. Pajauta tells the savior that the progress of the battle is not in a good shape due to the violent resistance of the enemies. The demon, appearing in front of the saviors who continue the battle, its existence appears dark as if it had flowed down from the night sky.       Total War Begins   Last area before entering inside of the Delmore. At Delmore Gardens, victims of a tragic history stand in the way of saviors. However, we cannot stop there. Saviors and the soldiers only grip their weapons harder to put aside the complicated feelings and move forward.       Episode 14 : Main Character          General Ramin He is a general with outstanding abilities that made him the apex of the Royal Army at a young age. The entire Royal Army, including the older generals, respects him. He is the most influential person in the Royal Army.       Centurion Master Krajicek He is Krajicek who's in the Royal Army and is in charge of training Centurion. He is a veteran soldier who once had various experiences in multiple areas in the Kingdom.     Pajauta Pajauta is the one who always takes the initiative to save people, as she did on Medzio Diena. She also quickly joined the Kingdom Army for the Delmore war as always. But something is happening to Pajauta...        Demon God Veliuona Veliuona, best suited to the darkness that even a single ray of light does not penetrate, dreams of a world immersed in pitch black. Veliuona will show her hostility without hesitation towards all beings that go against her ideals to realize the world she dreams of. One thing is clear: the world she dreams of is not a paradise for anyone except the dead     Moroth Embassy in Kingdom Update   Tutorial area Moroth Embassy in Kingdom is updated. This area is designed to be able to play the game in Episode 13-1 and Orsha area with character Lv. 450 once the New/Returning savior and existing savior with new character completes the area with Lv.440 character. This area is an area where the Royal Bodyguards, led by Princess Kaoneela Henrjusi as regent, are stationed among the remnants of the kingdom dispersed from the demons before and after the Medzio Diena and is located in the stage of Tree of savior, Moroth Islands which is not the continent of Kingdom. Saviors can play in this area when creating a new character, and once you complete the Moroth Embassy in Kingdom tutorial, you can participate in episode 13-1 as a Revelator of Moroth.   Dev team is planning to provide the tutorial and growth support items that were previously provided up to episode 12 by this area's quest so that New/Returning saviors can grow fast and approach the new contents. If you want to enjoy the Tree of Savior before Episode 13, you can play from Lv1 at the West Siauliai Woods if there is a character that completed the tutorial in your team.        Growth Achievement Update   In order to help New/Returning saviors grow their character, Growth Achievement will be added to the Achievement system. Growth Achievement will be designed to improve the character's specification (gear score, etc) by reaching the goal of Achievement based on receiving the main reward of content and experience of content. You can check the detail of Growth Achievement via [Achievement (F4) -> Main Achievement -> Growth Achievement], and 6 chapters of Growth Achievement will be updated on the next big update. Growth Achievement is divided into chapters, and you can go to the next chapter by completing the chapter.   Growth Achievement can be added due to new contents or system update in the future and chapter composition (numbering) will be added.      Joint Strike Raid Update   Demon Lord Diena, added to the Weekly Boss Raid in a recent update, will also appear at the Joint Strike Raid, and currently appearing bosses at the Weekly Boss Raid will also be added in order.       Gear Score Ranking   You can check the ranking of Gear Score by clicking the trophy icon next to the Gear Score.   Gear Score ranking is counted by character. Saves the Gear Score when it is higher than the current score when selecting characters in towns or when turning off the game.       Search Party Board   You can use the Search Party Board via the Party menu on the right bottom side, or the button on the right bottom side of the Party Information (F6).     You can register the party from the [Register] tab at the Search Party Board. You can enter the title of party recruit, condition to join the party, and party category. You cannot apply to join the party when the conditions are not met. It will be on the board for 20 minutes once you register, and the duration will extend when there is a change in the party.       You can check the registered party via [Search] from the Party Search Board, and you can check the class of party members and conditions to join the party by clicking the party. The Lore You Know - Retiarius

A new opponent enters the arena. This time it’s the “net-figher” – the Retiarius -- a fierce opponent to heavily-armored gladiators, such as the Murmillo.  While the images of most gladiators were based on military groups, the image of the retiarius was created around characteristics pertaining to the sea and fishermen. In ancient Rome, fishing was an important part of daily life and having a gladiator who embodied this aspect was something the people could get behind. The story of the retiarius was to fight against more heavily armored gladiators like the murmillo and the secutor, who were both based off of fish.  The retiarius was equipped with three pieces of equipment to claim victory in the arena, a rete, a fascina, and a pugio. The rete, which you may already be familiar with if this is your class of choice, was a weighted wide mesh net about 3 meters in diameter. The fascina was a 1.6 meter trident that was one of the most unique weapons used in the amphitheater and required intense training to master. Unlike the sword, the trident was not the best weapon for close quarter combat, but due to the fact that the retiarius was based off the image of a fisherman, it was a necessary addition. The final piece of equipment was the pugio, a small dagger used in tight situations to parry blows from a sword.     The ends of the rete were wrapped around the wrist of the retiarius and used to trap their opponents, trip them, or ensnare their weapon. If the cast was unsuccessful it could be jerked back and used again. But in the heat of the battle, if the rete was lost, the retiarius would have to continue the fight with just their fascina and pugio. Sometimes opting to grip the fascina with two hands for better control. In other cases, the retiarus would keep their distance, stabbing with the fascina until they were able to use their agility and mobility to close the gap and strike with the pugio.  As mentioned earlier, in contrast to the murmillo, the retiarius was the most lightly armored gladiator in Rome. They bore no helmet or shield, instead they simply wore a manica, which was an arm guard worn on their right arm, and a galerus, which was a bronze shoulder guard. The galerus was a way for them to protect themselves from head strikes.    Like all other gladiators, the retiarius moved the crowd and provided entertainment as they fought to the death. TOS Newbie Guide

Greetings savior! This is a basic guide for new/returning saviors who are not familiar with TOS system:) If you have trouble starting to play TOS, please read this guide!       1. Benefit only for New Saviors     Attendance check for 14 days, prepared for New Saviors New/Returning saviors can receive 3 kinds of Attendance reward!   New/Returning Player only TP Shop  Chance to buy Premium Token in half of the price! If you want to know more about Token, please read the rest of the guide:)   New/Returning Savior Buff Activation Scroll (30 days) Visit the [Wings of Vaivora] NPC and get a crucial buff to grow your character! Right-click on the [New/Returning Savior Buff Activation Scroll] to get the buff for 4 hours. ▶ When the buff is expired, you can right-click on the buff to re-apply the buff. Press the [F6] key to create a party with other saviors. The special buff will be applied when you have a party with 2 or more party members. ▶ Character buff: HP + (character level * 10), SP +(character level * 4), Movement Speed +3, Physical/Magic Attack +(chacracter level * 10), Physical/Magic Defense +(character level * 10) ▶ Party(2 or more) buff: [New/Returning Savior] - Looting Chance + 2000, [Party member] - Looting Chance + 1000, [Common] - EXP gain +50%        2. Wings of Vaivora, Necessary Point for New Saviors     Let's go to the Wings of Vaivora to receive [New/Returning Savior Buff Activation Scroll]! Wings of Vaivora NPC is in Klaipeda and Orsha. You can check the location of NPC via "NPC" tab on the World Map(N).     Wings of Vaivora Coin Shop  Use the Wings of Vaivora Coin obtained from Attendance Check! You can collect the coin to exchange for usable items.   Exploring Map Reward/Additional Revelation Reward/Goddess Statue Activation If you have completed exploring the map, a special reward will be given. Also, it activates the Goddess Statue of unvisited areas based on the progress.   ※ Receive various items that support you from NPC during the level up!   Kedoran Merchant Support Supplies If you have received level 40/75/120/170/220/270/315/350/380/420/440, you can receive Kedoran equipment and EXP cards! Equipment will be given up to Lv.380. Lv.350 and Lv.380 equipment are Enhanced and Transcended. Equipment is not given from Lv.420, but you can receive powerful equipment by clearing episodes. Don't invest in Enhancement and Transcendence! Kedoran equipment is not the final equipment! Clear the [Episode 11~12] to receive special 'Legend rank equipment'! ※ You can also check how to use Wings of Vaivora via Tutorial - [Mission: Intermediate. Clear the mission and get rewards!        3. TOS Day 1, you'd better start with us!     If you feel lost, Episode quest is the start of the TOS! Press [F5] key and clear from the main quest(). A special reward will be given once per team when clearing each episode.   Stat, the basic of character growth You can check the [stat] via [F1] key. Stat is divided into STR, CON, INT, SPR, and DEX and each stat is automatically divided based on class according to character level. Stat can be obtained by clearing the quest and reaching levels!   Advance to various classes! Each character can choose 3 classes to advance.   Learn special [skills] for the advanced class and [Attribute] that can enhance the skills. Click [F3] right now! Skill can be learned by using skill points given according to advanced class' level. There are limits on the maximum level for each skill, and additional skill points will be given when reaching a certain level. Attribute can enhance skill or change to new function. The attribute can be received by using 'Attribute Points'. Right-click on [Attribute Point] given from the Attendance check to receive Attribute Points! When learning an attribute, attribute level increases by 10 if right-clicking on '+' button.   You can change Stat/Skill/Attribute/Class anytime! You can reset Stat/Skill/Attribute by using Reset Potion anytime. (Excludes Common Attribute) Focus on class attributes first and invest in common attributes later! You can receive Reset Potion from a certain episode reward, Wings of Vaivora Shop, Event, etc.   You can change class from [Advancement Info], and 1,000 [Class Change Point] will be consumed when changing 1 class. If you lack points, try changing the class by using [Class Change Voucher] obtained from Attendance Check!   Hunting in the Field Are you confused because [Mercenary Badge]/Goddess Token (Gabija) is given instead of Silver? You can obtain silver by clearing Challenge Mode. Mercenary Badge/Goddess Token (Gabija) are usable! Check the details below:)   Token Use [Token] obtained from New Attendance Check! The effect will be applied to every character in the team, and it helps you to play the TOS system usefully. Especially, there are exemptions on warping via Goddess Statue, and 'Token Travel' service is provided so that you can move easily via World Map [N].   Free TP Did you know that Free TP is given? Free 1 TP is saving per 2 hours even you are not logged in! (up to 5TP) Free TP is consumed first when purchasing items at the TP shop:)   Use Chat When the chat window appears by pressing [Enter], set the chat by [Tab] key to Normal/Shout/Whisper/Party/Guild and enter the contents! [Megaphone] is consumed when using Shout, and you can purchase [Megaphone] via TP shop. Let's communicate with every savior on the server by Shouting! TIP. You can receive Megaphone from [New/Returning Savior Support Box] which is day 12 reward of Newbie Attendance Check.   Geraldasia  Gem Merchant Gem is an item that gives additional effect by equipping on the equipment. You can equip it after having a socket on an item. You can receive Gem or Abrasive needed for enhancing Gem via [Kedora Alliance Geraldasia] at towns. Don't miss the daily opportunity to have luck!       4. Don't miss these even you're busy leveling up!     Mercenary Badge Shop Right-click on the [Mercenary Badge] item and convert it into points and purchase it for an item at Mercenary Badge Shop. You can purchase various consumables, equipment, and content entry vouchers. Some items have purchase limits, so please be cautious!   Goddess' Statue/Miracle Seeds Let's grow the character fastly by using the buff! ▶ Goddess' Statue: EXP gain +20%, Increases HP/SP Recovery, Max. HP +10%, Movement Speed +1 ▶ Miracle Seeds: EXP gain +50%, Movement Speed +3, Max. HP +2000 TIP. You can get Goddess' Statue and Miracle Seed from [New/Returning Savior Support Box] and [Support Box] which is a reward for day 2 Attendance Check.   EXP Tome EXP Tome is an item that increases obtained EXP and Stamina recovery. You can craft it to item with higher efficiency by using lower-level items. ▶ EXP Tome: EXP gain +30%, Stamina Recovery x2 ▶ x4 EXP Tome: EXP gain +150%, Stamina Recovery x5 ▶ x8 EXP Tome: EXP gain +300%, Stamina Recovery x9 ▶ x32 EXP Tome: EXP gain +1200%, Stamina Recovery x9   [Recipe - x32 EXP Tome] can be received by a certain chance when defeating monsters with lv.100 or above in every field, cannot be received when the level gap with the monster exceeds 20. (unable to receive from challenge mode)   Craft EXP Tome with a higher level Purchase 'EXP Tome' recipe from [Item Merchant] → Press [Insert]-[S] key to craft 2 x4 EXP Tome → Craft x8 EXP Tome with x4 EXP Tome! ※ Timed EXP Tome can be used as material for EXP Tome, and crafted EXP Tome won't have a time limit. (EX. when crafting x4 EXP Tome with 4 EXP Tome (14 days), x4 EXP without time limit will be received!)   Spell Shop   Do you know the Spell Shop owned by saviors in towns? If the monster's attack becomes harder and harder, purchase the buff from the Spell Shop! (800 silver each) TIP. If you want to purchase all buff, click purchase button for all, and Click yes.             5. Basic of the equipment   Rank There are Normal/Magic/Rare/Unique/Legend/Goddess ranks. Each equipment varies the type of class that can equip the equipment, so please check before receiving it.   There are 4 parts of Armors with 3 types (Cloth/Leather/Plate). Apply 4 parts of armor with the same type to receive the additional effect. ▶ Cloth: Decreases Magic Damage ▶ Leather: Increases Damage ▶ Plate: Decreases Physical Damage TIP. For Dealer class, increase the Defense with Plate type first, and select Leather type after increasing your ability!   Equipment is set according to the skill per each class, and you can check it via skill tooltip. TIP. If you equip a Two-handed weapon, only Trinket can be equipped to the sub weapon. Accessory is divided into bracelet and necklace, and you can equip 2 bracelets and 1 necklace.   Identify the unidentified equipment Unidentified equipment can be used after identifying via [Blacksmith] NPC/[Private Spell Shop] and applying [Random Stat].   Enhance/Transcendence Equipment (under Goddess grade) It is unable to enhance and transcendence episode 12 equipment but it can be enhanced by using Enhance/Transcendence Scroll. Enhance/Transcendence Scroll can be obtained by participating in events. Go visit the [Event Shop]!   Repair Equipment Were you worried that your equipment's durabilities are decreasing during the combat? Durability can be recovered by 'Repair' or by using [Repair Kit]. Also, you can have a special effect by using Personal Repair Shop!   Card (Monster Card/Master Card/Goddess Card) Open the card slot from Inventory[F2] and equip various card items to check each effect. ▶ Monster Card: by defeating a certain monster/via Mercenary Badge Shop ▶ Master NPC Card: by clearing certain episode/Master Card Selection Card Album/Fedimian Public House ▶ Goddess Card: Reputation Shop      Market/Personal Trade If you are suffering from crafting equipment or Ichor, use the 'Market' and 'Trade'! You can use the Market via [Market Manager] NPC. Search for the item and purchase it!   Let's do personal Trade! If the character is not using [Premium Token], the traded item is bounded to the character (unable to trade).   Enchant Scroll [Enchant Scroll] is an item that you can use to 'hair costume' to apply various stats. (Max. 3). Apply stats for both efficiency and fashion!     6. Play various content! Content Status Board  Press [F10] to see the content of TOS. Check the entry level, and play the content! You can check the guide for all contents in Guide category on our website:)   Play content, Get Contents Point! You can receive Contents Point by clearing multiple contents. You can exchange for Contents Point with specific items. Collect the Contents Point and purchase special items from [Content Point Shop] via [Magic Association] NPC in Klaipeda and Orsha!     7. For saviors who have cleared up to Ep.11   Use Ep.11 Savionose Dysnai equipment Have you received Savinose Dysnai equipment after clearing Ep.11? Because Savinose Dysnai equipment is an [Unidentified Equipment], you need to identify and apply 'random stat' to use the equipment. If you suffer from clearing Ep.12 due to strong monsters, please refer to the contents below! ▶ Equip Fixed Ichor We recommend you to play Ep.12 after equipping 'Fixed Ichor' to the Ep11 equipment. You can get the Fixed Ichor by extracting the Ichor from contents of [Kedora Merchant Alliance Galimive Armor Box]. (You can have 4 parts of Armor from 1 Kedora Merchant Alliance Galimive Armor Box) ▶ 'Plate' Armor + 'CON' Random Stat EP12 is an area where the monsters' HP /ATK gets higher extremely.
