For Legend Raid Portal Stone Recipe, it is a problem when the supply is low, and it is an item of no value when if it is sufficient. Thus, we have decided to delete the Legend Raid Portal Stone on the next big update. After the next big update, Raid Portal Stone will be unified in to 1 kind and we will increase the supply of Nucle Powder, Sierra powder, and Raid Portal Stone in-game. Hello saviors, this posting is about details of PvP contents Adjustment and a brief introduction for the next update. Guild Territory War Rule of Guild Territory War will be adjusted as follows. - Allocates market fee from every 6 Guild Territory areas. - A guild can have up to 15 members in one area at a time. - The way to seize territory is changed. Market Fee given to the Champions League spot will now be expanded to every spot. Area Market Fee Share (Before) Total: 10.0% Market Fee Share (Before) Total: 15.0% Genar Field Baron Allerno Aqueduct Bridge Area 4.0% 3.0% 3.0% 2.50% Salvia Forest Sventimas Exile Nuoridin Falls X 2.50% For now, 10% of the market fee is given to 3 guilds who've seized the GTW Champions League. But after the adjustment, 6 spots will equally receive 2.5% of the market fee. The total fee for the server will be increased from 10% to 15%. Guild who have seized the Champions League can still receive the fee of NPC shop. But the guild cannot change the Tariff Rates and will be fixed to 10% (price of the original game). The benefits system of the Unknown Sanctuary, installation of the Unknown Sanctuary entry, and the system that enables guilds who have seized 1 or more GTW to participate in the Giltine and Sulivinas Lair Blockade for a ranking battle to receive reward will be maintained. With the expansion of fee contribution, the number of guild members for GTW will be limited to 15 guild members per guild. Each member can move the spots freely once the total members are 15 or less, and the authorized guild member or the guild master can check each number of guild members participating in each spot. Guild that has multiple participants for GTW can distribute the members to seize many spots at the same time. Distribution of each attack is an important strategy. Also, guilds with small participants can seize the spot once 15 members' powers are gathered. Defense buff will be applied to the guild who seized the spot, and no buff will be applied to the guild who attacks the spot. The way how you seize the Guild Territory will also be changed. Currently, the point increases proportionally to the number of guild members in the range of the Guild Territory and the guild who reaches the point of 1000 first seizes the guild. But after the adjustment, the attacking guild will interact with the Spot Tower for a few seconds and if nothing bothers, it will be seized immediately. So to give you better answers for your questions, we invited Director syKim. Q) First of all, why is the game called “Tree of Savior” and what is the story of the game? A) The story starts with a huge tree. After this tree had appeared on the Earth, the Goddesses who had been protecting the humans suddenly disappeared from the Earth. Under the attacks from the monsters, humans struggle to live on day by day. After some time, the warriors who were selected by the Goddess Laima, who controls destiny, save the Goddesses and they start to reveal the hidden stories about the tree and the monsters. Q) How many characters can I create per account? I mean how many character slots are available? A) It depends on the size of barrack. The first barrack that is given to players when they start the game will have four character slots. However, as you move into bigger barracks, you will be able to create more characters and you will also be able to decorate your barrack. Q) Is server wide chatting available? We received a request from a fan that this feature should be in the game. A) Yes. There is server wide chatting available in the game and you can do it using a mic. All the messages that are sent to the server will be displayed on the upper side of the screen and they can be scrolled down as in Granado Espada. Q) When we engage in trades, do we have to set up individual stalls or is there a market where players can register their items? A) Instead of using individual stalls, we are planning to have a market where all the players can register their items. However interpersonal trades are also possible. If we add a feature which allows individual stalls in the game, it will be focused more on purchase requests rather than selling the items. There is also a feature in the game which GM can submit items to be listed on auction at the fixed times and it will have all the same features that are available in the real auctions. Q) Is there a level cap? If there is, which level will be the level cap? A) We are expecting level 100 will be the level cap for the CBT version of the game. We are talking about the basic level of the characters and there are different levels for each class. Q) I heard there are 80 types of classes. Can we choose among 80 classes from the start of the game? A) No. There are four classes to choose from at the start of the game. After that, with each character’s advancement as you play the game, there will be total of 80 classes in the game. We will have 80 classes for the official launch version of the game and the numbers can increase after that. Q) Instead of advancing your character class, I heard you can also train your existing class. What are the benefits for doing so? A) When you train your existing class of the character, you can level up the existing skills and you can also learn new skills and attributes for the class. For example, a player who started the game with Wizard may decide not to advance to Creomancer and instead level up the Wizard to 2nd layer of circle. The skills of the Wizard will be stronger after that. Q) Are there any specific jobs for crafting the items or to collect the items in the game? I like crafting stuffs more than hunting. All classes will be able to collect the items in the game. Q) How hard are the bosses? Do we need to control the game like action genre games? A) It depends on each player’s controllability, but we think that it will not be hard if you understand the patterns of the bosses’ movements. The bosses that will appear on the raids and the fields may be little more difficult. ▲Bosses are not hard. Q) We don’t use mouse to play the game? Only keyboard? What happens when I click on the monsters or the ground? A) When you move or control your character, only keyboard is used, but when you click on UIs, you can use mouse. We had a version of the game which you can move your character using mouse, but it was rather hard to play the game using mouse so we gave up on using mouse. While other clerics use the divine power of the goddesses through prayer or ceremonies, the Zealots sacrifice their life energy and similar forces to utilize a new power, one that does not borrow from a divine figure. A majority of the Zealot order is concerned with finding Laima and Jurate and those Zealots who have devoted themselves to reestablishing contact with Jurate have separated themselves from the Loremasters. Now that all of the goddesses have disappeared after the events of Medzio Diena, one could say that the Zealots possess an advantage over the other cleric groups. Q) Hello Hebrew Young. Lots of users are asking for the international version of the game. How’s the progress? A) Hello. I am the programmer in charge of “Tree of Savior”, Hebrew Young. We just finished converting all the texts in the game in Unicode, and now we are concentrating on making the selection of different languages within the game possible. Q) Do we choose different languages at the start of client execution? Or is it possible to change the language while we are playing the game? A) When you change the language at option, all the interfaces, dialogues and all other texts will be shown in different language. ▲ Korean ▲ English ▲ And even Japanese Q) Are the English version and the Japanese version ready for CBT? A) We are preparing, but since those translations were not done by natives, they may feel little awkward. We plan to provide a way to receive suggestions to modify translations from the community in the future. Q) Okay so then, are you planning to have one server where all the users from all around the world connect at the same time? Will the international participants also be able to join CBT? A) Right now, since we are preparing for CBT phase of the game, the servers for the test will be located in Korea initially. Therefore, we are going to test how stably the people who live far away from Korea play the game and based on the results we will gather from this test, we will decide whether we will add more physical servers to the other regions besides Korea. Q) Are you going to support only the three languages that are mentioned above? A) If we have all the translated texts, we can basically support all the languages which have corresponding language codes. For the version which we are currently developing at the moment, there is a feature that we can modify the texts in the game directly and I think if we can improve this feature, we are thinking about distributing the language sets to the users and when they are finished with translations, we will add them in the game. Hi, I`m developer SY Kim. TOS is a game which is currently under development. Therefore, please understand that the answers that are given below can be changed in the future. Furthermore, “R○○narok” is not related to TOS in any way since all rights of the game belong to the other company. Therefore, do not misunderstand TOS as a sequel to “R○○narok”, and for those of you who send us questions without knowing this fact, please do not get confused. Q) Is it possible to record in-game video clips or take screenshots? (FLV, MP4, WMV formats are preferable) A) We temporarily inserted a feature which allows recording in-game video clips since that makes easier for us to develop the game. However, we haven’t decided whether or not to insert this feature in the official version of the game. It will be possible to take screenshots in the official version of the game. Q) I heard that it is possible to automatically form a party when players are just nearby each other. Is it also possible to manually select the members within each party? A) After FGT, We found out that lots of people feel awkward and difficult on this automatic matching people to form parties so we are modifying the party feature so that everyone can understand it easily. We will tell you more about it when our development is completed on this feature. Q) Is there card system in TOS? What about fixed Loot and XP system? Are items’ stats fixed? A) We do have cards in the game, but we don’t have any system which allows combining those cards on to items to have any optional effects on items. The types of items and XP that can be obtained from the monsters in the game are fixed for each monster. However, when a player’s level exceeds monsters’ levels too much, then EXP points that the player will acquire will start to diminish. Items’ parameters are also fixed by item’s category and parameters can be improved by inserting jewels on items. If you insert a magic amulet on to an item, extra options will be activated. Jewels and magic amulets can be inserted together. ▲ Magic amulet and gris-gris are inserted to the sheild and the sword. Q) Is there a guild system in CBT? A) CBT will be small scale and we are planning it for a short range of period so there won’t be guild system in CBT. Q) I saw a spear from a video clip. Is there a knight who uses spear in the game? This is very important to me. A) We have a class which is specialized in using spear. Especially, Hopelight which uses one handed spear and a shield will become much more powerful when it is with Centurion class. ▲ Centurion Army put on the Hoplites. Q) What does Wugushi mean which was mentioned in Questions and Answers #3? A) In Chinese letters, it is written 巫蠱師. We got an inspiration from the tribe who were specialized in making and using poisons. Q) Are the characters all left-handed? They were attacking with left hand when I watched a video clip. A) When characters are using weapons on right hand, characters are hardly visible on the screen so to make them more visible, we changed the sides. I never thought you would notice this... Please think of it as the image reflected from mirror. Q) Are there daggers in the game? A) Daggers act as sub-weapons in TOS. The items that will be equipped on left hand will all be called sub-weapons and some of them can be used by pressing C key. When you are equipped with a dagger, you can attack the monsters using C key. Therefore, certain classes in Swordsman can attack faster by pressing Z key and C key repeatedly. There are other sub-weapons such as magic items which can use unique skills and some other equipment that are not really important in the game. Q) Are monsters’ re-spawn locations random A) Yes. They are random. But the monsters are made to pull each other so they can be grouped together. Q) Is it possible to change BGM on each map? A) We haven’t decided yet. Do you need a player which can switch to different music in the game? Please send us your suggestion. Q) How do stats work? Is it possible to freely allocate the points to stats that have been accumulated by leveling up? A) 1 point will be given after each level up. You can freely allocate this point on any of four stats. Q) Can we have pets in TOS? If there are pets, will they assist us in battles or boost our stats? Are there mounts in TOS? A) It is hard to clearly distinguish between pets and mounts in TOS. Some of the pets in the game can be used as mounts and some mounts can help you in battles and the level of closeness between you and the mounts can be increased. In our development team, we call them collectively as “Companions”, and this word may become the one of the official glossaries in the game. Some companions can’t be riden nor it can help us in battles, but they will either help us in transportation or in other ways. There will be many types of companions in the game. Thank you.

Greetings, this is Se Yong Kim from “Tree of Savior (TOS)” Dev team. We have completed the open beta version of the TOS build (OBT version) and currently are testing it on our test server. If no significant problem is found, it is more than likely that we will use this version. The following contains the brief descriptions regarding the changes the OBT version would have. 1. Players can now choose the starting point. In CBT version, players started their journey on Klaipeda after getting the divine revelations from the goddesses. In OBT version, however, players can start their journeys from the new city “Orsha.” The Orsha route will largely be the same as the Klaipeda route. Both will have Rank 4 advancement, the storage service and etc. However, the Orsha route will provide players with new areas to explore and new quests to complete. The players from both Klaipeda and Orsha will join paths in “Femidian.” ▲ When creating a character, one can choose the starting city. This choice does alter the early quests and progression. 2. The level cap will be raised to Lvl. 280. In CBT3, players could only reach the lvl. 200 and progress up to Petrified City. The new version will allow players to reach lvl. 280 and new areas will be unlocked. New areas mean new boss monsters and new soundtracks, not to mention new collection for each area. ▲ The current highest accessible area 3. Each area has its own rank. In the previous version, the fields and dungeons only had names. In the OBT version, ranks will appear with their names. (E.g. Field ★★, Dungeon ★★★) As the rank goes up, so do the overall difficulty and the penalty. The rewards will suit the challenges, so don’t worry. Some monsters in the high-ranking fields might be capable of pre-emptive strikes like those of the dungeon monsters. So, you need to stay alert. ▲ Field ★★★, the monsters will attack first. 4. Rank 7 Class will be added. Now your characters can advance to the rank 7 along with two other circles for Rank 6. Let me introduce our new classes in the following. ▲ Dragoon Dragoons are elite spear-wielding soldiers. They will gain more bonuses if they use two-handed spears instead of one-handed ones. ▲ Templar Templars are the commander class that can form and manage guilds. Only the Templar classes can be the guild masters and choose the path a guild could take. For more info on the Guild system, please read the subsection below. ▲ Warlock Warlocks use the power of evil spirits. They can summon or control evil spirits by defeating the enemies. ▲ Featherfoot Featherfoots are the wizards that absorb the life force of the enemies or put curses on the enemies to make combat easier for your allies. ▲ Cannoneer Cannoneers are the archer-type class. The cannon they use do have some shortcomings such as leaving windows of vulnerability before and after firing a shot and cannons might be troublesome to use from time to time. However, you can trust its firepower and the range of area it can cover. Cannons, just like the pistols, fall into sub-weapon category and can be equipped along with crossbow items. ▲ Musketeer Musketeers are the gunner class that uses a rifle. They cannot wield it along with a bow but the musket has high attack speed and effective close-quarter combat skills. ▲ Plague Doctor Plague Doctors are the cleric-type class that high expertise in curing abnormalities of the allies or incinerate that of the enemies. The bird-like beak mask they wear has been treated with special chemicals that protect them against major abnormalities. ▲ Kabbalist Kabbalists are the clerics that practice the ancient magic known as Kabbalah. They either support their allies with infinite power or analyze the enemies’ names to aid them in combat. 5. Guild System will be added. The aforementioned Templars can form and manage guilds. ▲ First, go see Knight Commander Uska and pay handsomely to create a guild. Then, invite friends to your guild. Initially, a guild can accommodate up to 20 people. The max capacity can be increased as the attribute level increases. If you have joined a guild, a Guild tab will be added to your Chat UI. All the discussions both minor and major can be done on this tab without using a mic. Guild masters can raise a guild tower on a field of their choosing. The tower can perform even more functions depending on the guild tower skills the Templar in charge has. Guild members can use the tower to warp, use the guild storage or enter the private area. High-level guild towers can function as a hangout spot. The spot consists of an inside area and a farming garden. In this hangout spot, You can plant crops and harvest them, Or raise unique companions. The crop materials and companions can be obtained from various guild events. A guild master can choose in which guild events to participate. The events will consist of boss raid events, raid missions for guilds, GvG events. Guilds can grow their guild towers by feeding them talt items obtained from those events. As guild level increases, points will be accumulated and you can use those points to grow your guild. There are many ways a guild can grow. A guild can specialize in agriculture or in combat. Guilds can declare war with each other. Warring guilds can destroy each other’s guild tower or PVP the enemy members on fields. There aren’t many things that can be obtained by winning this war so it would be good for everyone to get along well each other. 6. Magic Amulets will be added. The magic amulets that have been distributed for testing purposes in the CBT version will be made available from the lvl. 220. When a magic amulet is attached to one’s shield or weapon, it will grant special stats. The charm attached on the shield is a magic amulet. It can also be attached to weapon. 7. OBT Schedule So far, we have not advertised our game except for one case of an interview. We would like to thank all the users who showed love and enthusiasm for our game despite that. The open beta test is scheduled to be on December 17th, 2015, 3PM. The pre-download will be made available on December 15th, two days prior to the test.
