Swordsman

For over thousands of years, the swordsmen were the Kingdom's basic footsoldiers and the career of choice for budding adventurers. Many heroes that have risen to great heights started off as swordsmen. Despite the myriad of advancements in the tools and tactics utilized in warfare, swordsmen have always been an irreplaceable asset in battle.
Classes in the Swordsman tree have the highest HP and DEF of all the class trees and can handle themselves adeptly in the heart of the battle.

  • BashSlash

    Inflict damage on an enemy with a powerful attack.

  • BearNone

    Become determined and temporarily decrease the physical attack damage you receive. Does not apply simultaneously with the Gung Ho buff.

  • Gung HoNone

    Become determined and temporarily increase your physical attack damage. Does not apply simultaneously with the Bear buff.

  • Pain BarrierNone

    Temporarily grants immunity to being affected by knockback, knockdown and stagger. Also increases the chance to resist status abnormalities.

  • ThrustPierce

    Push the point of your weapon into enemies, performing a strong piercing attack.

  • Bash: Knockdown

    * Enemies hit by [Bash] are knocked down
    * Increases SP consumption by 30%

  • Cloth Mastery: Magic

    * Can equip [Cloth] armor
    * When equipped with 4 pieces of [Cloth] armor, reduces magic damage taken in proportion to equipment grade
    * Effect is dependent on your lowest equipment grade
     
     - [Normal]: Magic damage taken -5%
     - [Magic]: Magic damage taken -7.5%
     - [Rare]: Magic damage taken -10%
     - [Unique]: Magic damage taken -12.5%
     - [Legend]: Magic damage taken -15%

  • Plate Mastery: Defense

    * Can equip [Plate] armor
    * When equipped with 4 pieces of [Plate] armor, reduces physical damage taken in proportion to equipment grade
    * Effect is dependent on your lowest equipment grade
     
     - [Normal]: Physical damage taken -5%
     - [Magic]: Physical damage -7.5%
     - [Rare]: Physical damage -10%
     - [Unique]: Physical damage taken -12.5%
     - [Legend]: Physical damage taken -15%

  • Leather Mastery: Dexterity

    * Can equip [Leather] armor
    * When equipped with 4 pieces of [Leather] armor, increases the maximum critical rate in proportion to equipment grade
    * Maximum critical rate increased by 10% regardless of equipment grade
    * Effect is dependent on your lowest equipment grade
     
     - [Normal]: Critical rate +4%
     - [Magic]: Critical rate +8%
     - [Rare]: Critical rate +12%
     - [Unique]: Critical rate +16%
     - [Legend]: Critical rate +20%

  • Use Maces

    * Can equip [Mace] type weapons

  • Use Rods

    * Can equip [Rod] type weapons

  • Weapon Swap

    * Can change weapons

  • Use One-handed Swords

    * Can equip [One-handed Sword] type weapons

  • Bash: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Bash] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Gung Ho: Enhance

    * Increases [Gung Ho]'s physical attack damage increasing effects by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Thrust: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Thrust] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Provoke

    * Increases threat values when attacking enemies by 50% per attribute level

  • Bear: Enhance

    * Increases [Bear]'s physical damage taken reducing effects by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • One-handed Sword Mastery: Ready for Battle

    * Adds 20% of your weapon's attack as physical defense when equipping a [Shield] and [One-handed Sword]
    * Increases attack speed when equipping a subweapon and [One-handed Sword] (no [Shield])
