Peltasta

Throughout the history of the Kingdom, the Peltasta has acted as the King's personal soldiers. To this day, they answer first and foremost to the King's orders while working as mercenaries who follow a special set of rules that are different from others.
The Peltasta are defensive warriors that specialize in shields to block the enemy's attack or taunt the enemy to lure them to their certain doom.

SKILLS

  • GuardianNone

    Reduces the incoming Physical and Magic Damage and increases the AoE Defense Ratio of the caster.
    Max. level that can be reached using items and skill effects is 7.

  • Hard ShieldNone

    Defense increases proportionally to the Defense rate of the Shield you currently equip. (Defense of the Shield with highest Defense among first slot or second slot will be applied)
    Buff will be removed when there is no Shield when changing the weapon.

  • High GuardNone

    Switch into an active defense stance using the shield. During [High Guard] buff, Evasion is unavailable but Block and Critical Resistance increases.
    Effect is removed when removing the shield equipped or re-using the skill while the buff is active.

  • LangortStrike

    Use both Shield and Sword to pierce the enemy at once. Physical Defense of the Shield is added to the Physical Attack, blocks the enemy's melee attack while attacking, and applies Silence debuff to the enemy.

  • Rim BlowStrike

    Use your shield and edge to attack and push away the enemy. If the attack is accurate, shield's physical defense is added to the physical Attack proportionally.

  • Shield LobStrike

    Throw shield to attack enemies within the front range.

  • Swash BucklingNone

    Hit your shield to draw attention from nearby enemies. The Evasion Rate and Block Rate of the threatened enemy(character, monster) decrease when hit by the caster's attack during debuff duration. Damage received by the caster's Peltasta skill increases by 10%. Additional threat rate is applied to the monster when the caster attacks and the Movement Speed of the threatened monster become faster.
    Becomes immune to Threat for a certain time after the Threat.

ATTRIBUTES

  • Rim Blow: Stun

    * Enemies hit by [Rim Blow] have a 5% chance per attribute level to become afflicted with [Stun] for 3 seconds
    * Increases SP consumption by 30%

  • Guard: Defense

    * Equip a shield and press C to activate [Guard]
    * While active, [Guard] increases your physical defense by 10% per attribute level
    * If you are attacked during a friendly duel or PvP, the effect is canceled and a 3-second cooldown applies

  • Rim Blow: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Rim Blow] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Guardian: Enhance

    * Increases [Guardian]'s physical and magic damage taken reducing effects by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Shield Lob: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Shield Lob] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Langort: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Langort] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Peltasta: Double Provocation

    * Increases threat levels by 2 times when attacking the enemy with Peltasta skills

  • Swash Buckling: Maintain Threat

    * [Swash Buckling] duration increases by 1 second per attribute level
    * Increases SP consumption by 10%

  • Rim Blow: Remove Knockback

    * Removes [Rim Blow] knockback effects
    * Increases SP consumption by 20%

  • High Guard: Enhance

    * Increases [High Guard]'s block and Critical Resistance increasing effects by 0.5% per attribute level
    * Increases additionally by 10% when mastering the maximum level

  • Hard Shield: Enhance

    * Increases [Hard Shield]'s defense increasing effects by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Peltasta: Shield Attack

    *Instead of nullifying the shield's defense, [Attribute level]*10% of Shield's physical defense is added to the Attack of [Rim Blow] / [Shield Lob] / [Langort]
    * When using the second slot, applied perfectly only when equipping 2 shields. Only half applied when equipping one
    * (Ex: When the proportion of the Attack added is 10%, [Defense of first slot shield] * 5% + [Defense of second slot shield] * 5%)

  • [Arts] Guardian: Reflect Missile

    * Reflects damage of enemy's attack, in proportion to decrease rate of Guardian damage. (decrease damage effect does not apply)

  • [Arts] Rim Blow: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the Skill Factor of [Rim Blow] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • [Arts] Shield Lob: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the Skill Factor of [Shield Robe] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • High Guard: Iron Defense

    * Your Shield and [Hard Shield] buff cannot be removed by enemies during High Guard. Your movement speed is reduced by -8, and your damage dealt is reduced by -20%, but increases your Damage Reduction by 10% when Block succeeds.

  • Swash Buckling: Swear Word

    * Swash Buckling applies only to enemy characters
    * Provoked enemy attacks the caster forcibly with basic attack for [(skill level x 0.2) + 1] seconds
    * Increases Movement Speed of provoked enemy by 10
    * [Anger Management] debuff applies to the provoked enemy for 60 seconds
    - Doesn't provoke if [Anger Management] debuff exists
    * Cooldown increases by 100 seconds

  • [Arts] Langort: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the skill factor of [Langort] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • Shield Mastery: Block Specialty

    * Block increases by 0.75% per attribute level when equipping [Shield], and [Detect Loophole] buff is applied to yourself when succeeding in Block
    * [Detect Loophole] : Accuracy and Block Penetration increases by 20% when attacking the enemy

  • Shield Guard

    * Able to use Guard by pressing C after equipping a shield
    * Disabled in friendly duels and PvP
