The Matadors started off as entertainers that showcased the art of combat against beasts to the masses. Over 300 years of their history, they have undergone changes. One of the biggest changes was that their style of combat was no longer confined to just facing non-human opponents.
Matadors are experts of the hit-and-run tactic and masters of taunts.
Move back a certain distance. No damage from the enemy while Back Slide is used, decreases damage received by 30% after using the Back Slide.
Threaten nearby enemies into chasing you. If there is a boss monster in the vicinity, the boss monster will be threatened first. Reduces the Critical Resistance of threatened enemies. If the target is a monster, its movement speed increases, and it becomes immune to forced threat skills for 30 seconds.
Incite a fighting bull to attack nearby enemies. The provoked bull deals damage to enemies in its way. Increases damage against large, boss monsters by 20%.
Attack enemies in front of you rapidly with a rapier. Increases damage against large, boss monsters by 20%. Critical Hit on enemies under [SeeRed]. Faena applies with an increased rate of Critical Attack by 50% when the attack is accurately hit.
Take out your cape and fight back against an enemy that attacks you. If the counterattacked enemy is a Beast type, it attacks first and receives [SeeRed] debuff. A successful counterattack nullifies the damage received and increases damage against large and boss monsters for a certain amount of time. Blocks all melee physical attacks while counterattacking.
Threat Value against the caster increases by flapping the cape and drawing attention from monsters.
By learning the skill Minimum Critical Rate of Matador skill will increase at all times.
Rotate 360 degrees and attack enemies around you. Enemies struck are knocked down.
