Hunter

Hunters began with training hunting dogs and have evolved to training various monsters to help them in combat. Hunter Masters are well-versed in both the weaponry used in hunting and the beasts that they must learn to tame.
Hunters are trainers who hunt enemies using companions. Companions use skills which require cooperation with their owners, such as biting and holding onto enemies, or finding hidden targets.

SKILLS

  • CoursingPierce

    Your companion holds on to a target, immobilizing it. Deals Bleeding damage which decreases the target's physical and magic defense. (When the target is a character or a boss monster, immobilizing effects do not apply.)

  • GrowlingNone

    Your companion growls to threaten enemies. Targets affected by Growling: Fear become immobilized, unable to act and vulnerable to Missile attacks.(Fear does not affect boss monsters and player characters but threats boss monsters)
    Growling is canceled when the companion reaches a distance of 250 or more away from the caster.

  • HoundingNone

    Enhances your companion's senses, allowing it to trace hidden objects. The companion finds concealed targets nearby and increases your looting chance. Revealed enemies become afflicted with Fear.

  • HowlingNone

    Your companion howls to threaten enemies. Debuffed targets have their critical resistance reduced.

  • PraiseNone

    Increases your companion's stats temporarily to increase Hunter’s skill damage. Immunity to knockback and knockdown.
    Summons the companion to your location immediately and restores HP. (Also applies when the companion has fainted.)Damage received by the companion -95% against all enemies except Boss monsters.

  • RetrievePierce

    Order your companion to drag a target towards you. The target becomes unable to attack and suffers damage over 3 times. (If the enemy is a character, duration is cut in half. If it's a boss monster, it cannot be immobilized.)
    Enemies attacked by Retrieve are inflicted with Bleeding after the end of the skill.

  • Rush DogStrike

    Order your companion to attack at the targeted location. Enemies hit by Rush Dog have a 50% chance of becoming stunned.

ATTRIBUTES

  • Companion Mastery: Tenacity

    * Increases stamina consumption cycle of companion by 10 seconds per attribute level

  • Companion First Aid

    * When companion HP is below 50%, activates [First Aid] effect to recover HP for 2 seconds
    Duration is increased by 1 second per attribute level from Lv. 2
    [First Aid] cannot be used for another 10 minutes after being activated

  • Rush Dog: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Rush Dog] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Retrieve: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Retrieve] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Train: Ground Companion

    * Increases skill damage of [Coursing], [Rush Dog] and [Retrieve] by 1% of the companion's attack per attribute level

  • Howling: Enhance

    * Increases [Howling]'s critical resistance reducing effects by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • [Arts] Coursing: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the Skill Factor of [Coursing] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • [Arts] Rush Dog: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the Skill Factor of [Rush Dog] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • [Arts] Retrieve: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the Skill Factor of [Retrieve] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • [Arts] Rush Dog: Onslaught

    * Removes Stun effect of [Rush Dog] and replace it with 40% increased skill damage.
    * [Bleeding] enemies take 80% increased skill damage.

  • Retrieve: Decreased Defense

    * Decreases physical defense of an enemy attacked with [Retrieve] by 2% per attribute level
    * Increases SP consumption by 10%

  • Coursing: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Coursing] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level
