Falconer

It takes a lot of patience and control to become a Falconer because Falconers form relations and communicate with their Hawks, rather than simply tame them. It takes a lot of spiritual and instinctual talent to become a Falconer Master so if there is no one eligible for the position, the Hunter Master takes an additional role as a Falconer Master.
Falconers control Hawks. Hawks may be fussy, but they become reliable companions when trained well.

SKILLS

  • AimingPierce

    Enemies you target in an area around your hawk can be attacked from outside normal range. This range increases with the skill level. Only the caster receives the effect.

  • Sonic StrikeStrike

    Command your hawk to divebomb enemies multiple times in the targeted area. The target is likely to be afflicted with [Blind]. Deals additional damage to Beast-type enemies.

  • RoostNone

    Set up a roost where the hawk can sit. When the hawk starts flying again, all Falconer skills except Roost have their cooldown times reset.

  • CirclingNone

    Increases party member and your AoE Attack Ratio. Your hawk reveals hidden enemies after 5 seconds of casting. Consumes SP continually and buff is removed when SP is exhausted.

  • Pre-Emptive StrikePierce

    The hawk automatically attacks enemies near its master with Pheasant or Sonic Strike. Pre-Emptive Strike deals less damage than regular Sonic Strike, but the same debuff applies. Continuously consumes SP, and the effect cancels if low on SP.

  • Hanging ShotNone

    Move while hanging on your hawk. Prevents damage from close ranged attacks and you can damage enemies with basic attacks while hanging.

  • PheasantStrike

    Throw a training doll and have your hawk attack the targeted area. Attacked enemies become momentarily stunned. Deals additional damage to Beast-type enemies.

  • TomahawkStrike

    The hawk glides over a spot the ground, causing a large explosion. Enemies caught in the explosion become affected with the Burn debuff.

ATTRIBUTES

  • Companion Mastery: Tenacity

    * Increases stamina consumption cycle of companion by 10 seconds per attribute level

  • Companion First Aid

    * When companion HP is below 50%, activates [First Aid] effect to recover HP for 2 seconds
    Duration is increased by 1 second per attribute level from Lv. 2
    [First Aid] cannot be used for another 10 minutes after being activated

  • Sonic Strike: Confusion

    * Attacking enemies blinded as a result of [Sonic Strike] applies the [Confusion] debuff
    * Confused enemies have their physical defense reduced and physical attack increased by attribute level x 0.5%
    * Increases SP consumption by 50%

  • Circling: Expand

    * Increases the AoE attack ratio by 3 when using [Circling]
    * Increases SP consumption by 100%

  • Train: Flying Companion

    * Increases the attack of [Tomahawk], [Sonic Strike] and [Pheasant] by 1% of your companion's attack per attribute level

  • Pheasant: Rapid Attack

    * Damage of [Pheasant] decreases, but the skill hits 5 times
    * Increases SP consumption by 50%

  • Falconer: Hawk Eye

    * Applies 3% of additional minimal critical chance per attribute level to all Falconer skills (not including basic attacks)

  • Tomahawk: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Tomahawk] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • [Arts] Hanging Shot: Dodge

    * When using [Hanging Shot], your hawk will rescue you from an emergency, providing you temporary invincibility and decreasing damage taken by 30% for 5 seconds after [Hanging Shot] ends
    * Hanging Shot Duration: 3 seconds

  • [Arts] Pheasant: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the Skill Factor of [Pheasant] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • [Arts] Sonic Strike: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the Skill Factor of [Sonic Strike] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • [Arts] Tomahawk: Enhanced Upgrade

    * Increases the Skill Factor of [Tomahawk] by 1.25% per attribute level

  • [Arts] Tomahawk: Scorched

    * Instead of the original function, the Hawk descends toward the front and leaves flames for 5 seconds. Applies damage to the enemy on the flame by 5% of Tomahawk for every 0.5 seconds
    * [Burn Debuff] is not applied.

  • Pheasant: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Pheasant] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level

  • Sonic Strike: Enhance

    * Increases the skill factor of [Sonic Strike] by 0.5% per attribute level
    * +10% added increase at maximum level
