[UPDATE] Known Issues Jan 23, 2019
Greetings Saviors, The following issues have come to our attention since the Scheduled Maintenance on January 22, 2019. 1) The issue where some players are still affected with the inventory items not being displayed correctly due to items that still have magic amplification bonuses. 2) Corsair's Pillaging attribute not being applied correctly while fighting monsters. 3) Barbarian's Frenzy: Enhance attribute not being applied correctly to the player's damage output. 4) Players receiving additional damage when equipped with full Kite Moor set. Resolved Issue - Hoplite normal attacks not dealing any damage in PvP situations when the player is under the effects of Sharp Spear Ongoing Issues - The issue where chat emotes are displayed as dots and is not displayed correctly in the chat window when entered. - Priests being able to use Resurrect more than once per round in TBL contrary to its tooltip description. - We are still currently at work restoring the players' items that were discarded while equipping gems. - Players who have lost potentials or had their items destroyed due to the Gear Grind Weekend event will be compensated by the upcoming Scheduled Maintenance on Jan 29, 2019, during which Premium Awakening Stones will also be given out as compensation for those who were affected by the issue. NEW! Community Guide Hall of Fame
Greetings, Saviors! Much has changed with the arrival of Re:Build, and many new features have made their way into the game as well. In this event, we’re celebrating the big update and acknowledging the adventurous players out there exploring new content and sharing the knowledge. Event Period Submissions: FROM [EST] January 22, 2019 TO [EST] February 12, 2019 Winners announced: - February 19, 2019 How to Participate STEP 1. Compose and submit or update your existing game guide at the ‘Game Tips and Strategies’ category of our official forums until February 12, 2019. The guide can be about new Re:Build changes or any in-game content you’re well-versed in and would like to share with the community. Make sure to read the submission guidelines below and make sure your guide abides by forum rules. STEP 2. Until February 19, we will review all submitted guides and select the top posts. Winning guides will be moved to a new forum category called ‘Community Guides’, where only staff-approved guides will be posted. Selected players will also win the following rewards: - Title: Game Guide Creator x1 - Barber Shop FREE Gift Coupon x1 - Goddess’ Blessed Cube x10+1 Submission Guidelines 1) The title of your post should start with ‘[SUBMIT]’. In the body of the post, please include your server and team name information. 2) Guides must include a sufficient amount of up-to-date, correct information, sufficient quality of analysis, and be sufficiently comprehensive of the covered subject. 3) Guides must be conveniently displayed and formatted. 4) Guides must be written on the official TOS forums, and not on a link elsewhere. However, links to external resources, screenshots and videos etc. are allowed when used to complement the guide. 5) Guides must be newly written or updated during the event period. Outdated guides are not eligible for rewards. Important - We will not accept guides that are similar to others already published in our official forums. - Guides added to the new ‘Community Guides’ category may be removed if they become outdated. - You will not be able to post in the new ‘Community Guides’ category directly. Any guides must be posted in the ‘Game Tips and Strategies’ category, from where they can be moved by a staff member. - During the event period, you can submit your guide to this event as well as our Equipment Guide section. Issue with Gear Grind Weekends
Greetings Saviors, It has come to our attention that there has been a problem with the Weekend transcendence discount caused by the discrepancy between the time settings on the player PC's and the game's server clock. We are currently looking into resolving the issue before this weekend and also at work compiling information to provide restorations for all users who have lost their equipment potential or even had their equipment destroyed during this time. The restoration process for ALL lost potential and equipment and full refund of Goddess' Blessed Gems used in failed transcendences will take place during the Scheduled Maintenance on January 29, 2019, and the players who have been directly affected by the issue will also be provided the following item as compensation during this time: - Premium Awakening Stone (14 days) x2 The following items will be issued during the Scheduled Maintenance on January 22, 2019, as compensation for ALL users: - Instanced Dungeon Reset Voucher (14 days) x2 - Challenge Mode One Entry Voucher (14 days) x2 We apologize once again for the inconvenience we've caused and thank you for your utmost patience and understanding.
On Recent Add-On Compatibility Issues
Greetings Saviors. Today we would like to address the topic of add-ons. It is our understanding that a large number of our players are currently using add-ons. With a big update like [Re:Build], add-ons become obsolete and even cause issues with the game as reported by the many of you through the tickets. This is why we thought it would be helpful to let our players know of some of the issues that are caused by add-ons and provide instructions for a clean installation in order to resolve the related issues. Some Issues know to be caused by Add-ons - Players not being able to add new skills to the Quickslot. - The issue where players click on a button in the game UI and getting no response. - Players' silver count missing a comma and the 1's being replaced by the letter i's in the silver amount display. How to Perform a Clean Installation of TOS STEP 1. Uninstall Tree of Savior from Steam by right-clicking on Tree of Savior in your Steam's library and clicking 'Uninstall...' from the dropdown menu. STEP 2. Locate the directory in which your Tree of Savior game is installed. By default, it should be C:￦Program Files (x86)￦Steam￦steamapps￦common￦TreeOfSavior STEP 3. Delete the TreeOfSavior game folder from its installed location. STEP 4. Reinstall Tree of Savior through Steam and enjoy the game. IMPORTANT - Add-on managers may not do the job in removing the installed add-ons completely. - Deleting only the Addon folder in the TreeOfSavior directory will not remove the installed add-ons completely. - Verifying the integrity of game files through Steam will do nothing to remove the installed add-ons.
