Compensation for Teams Deleted during TOS W Merge
Greetings Savior, We would like to announce the measures that will be taken to compensate the users that had their team deleted from [SEA] Telsiai during the [Tree of Saviors W] server merge. Please refer to the following announcement for the details of the policy. Target - Users who have teams on more than one of the target servers (SEA, KR, JPN) that have applied for team recovery Period After the Scheduled maintenance on April 25, 2023 ~ June 6, 2023 23:59 (KST) Category Details Period # The team recovery will be conducted in four phases. 1st Request: After the Scheduled maintenance on April 25, 2023～May 2, 2023 23:59 (KST) → Recovered on May 9, 2023. 2nd Request: May 2, 2023～May 8, 2023 23:59 (KST) → Recovered on May 15, 2023. 3rd Request: May 10, 2023～May 16, 2023 23:59 (KST) → Recovered on May 23, 2023. 4th Request: May 17, 2023～June 6, 2023 23:59 (KST) → Recovered on June 13, 2023. Procedure Category Details Overview # For a limited period, users who have teams on more than one of the target servers and would like to move their teams that were not included in the integration will be able to do so. # The recovered team will be moved to a separate Steam account from the one you're using. ※ We are unable to transfer multiple teams to the same account. Please create a new Steam account separate from your current account before contacting us. ※ When deleted teams are recovered, data regarding the connection between accounts cannot be recovered. (ex; guilds, friends, likes, etc.) Procedure 1. Create a new Steam account separate from your current Steam account 2. Access Tree of Savior with your newly created Steam account and create a new team ※ The newly created team is a temporary team for identification during the process. After the recovery is complete, they will be deleted and replaced with the existing team information that will be recovered. ※ The name of the newly created team will be applied. 3. Preview: Tree of Savior W Release and Integration of Region
Greetings, Saviors. We would like to announce that [Tree of Saviors W] will open on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, where Saviors playing Tree of Saviors in various regions will be united on one server to enjoy new encounters, adventures, challenges, and competition. [Tree of Saviors W] will bring together Saviors from all of Asia, including Korea and Japan, which will allow everyone who has been playing in their respective regions to be able to meet and make memories together across languages and cultures. Saviors from your favorite guilds and regions will be able to find new goals to work towards, while those who aren't tied to a guild or region will be able to create their own unique groupings. No new installations or changes are required to enjoy [Tree of Saviors W]. You'll be able to access [Tree of Saviors W] by running your existing client in each region via the STEAM platform, and Saviors in each region will meet on one and the same server. Tree of Saviors W will also add live chat translation, and you'll be able to choose which language is displayed in the client. The opening of [Tree of Savior W] will be accompanied by a variety of events. In particular, special rewards will be awarded for the first Guild Territory War after the integration. The following flag rewards will be awarded to Guilds that capture the Champions League areas: 'Genar Field', 'Aqueduct Bridge Area', and 'Baron Allerno'. (The following criteria will be applied to determine which teams are transferred) 1. Team with more premium TPs 2. Team with higher team levels (experience) 3. Team with more characters created 4. Team with later team creation dates # Premium TPs are transferred to the final team after all teams' information is summed. - They are also transferred if they were converted to points using TP-packaged items. # For further activation of teams not selected by the above criteria, you will need to apply by creating a new STEAM account. - The details of the procedure will be announced in a separate announcement in the future. Since the 2010s, the rapid rise of AI technology has brought a huge wave of impact and change to every sector of society. The field of gaming was no exception, and as we saw the impact of AI technology on even the creation that we thought was uniquely human, we realized that this was both a crisis that we had to overcome and an opportunity to take the fun and enjoyment of gaming to the next level. The impact that AI technology can have on game development and play is far-reaching, but one of the first things we started paying attention to was something we could see and feel. An AI painting technique called Stable Diffusion has seen dramatic technical growth since its announcement last year, and we've been studying it with the goal of training it on content from Granado Espada and Tree of Savior, two IPs we've been developing and servicing for a long time, and today we're sharing our preliminary results. Last April Fool's Day, we created and released simple digital figures of Granado Espada and Tree of Savior, and while the images were meant to enjoy the April Fool's Day event and the figures don't exist in real life, we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality and vivid depiction of the features of our IPs. Users who saw the image on social media were mostly satisfied with the quality and excited to see it. <Figurine illustration based on Tree of Savior> Once the Al program has learned the characters and art style of the game, it allows us to try different ways of representing them besides just using a figurine style. One of the things that we found meaningful was creating "fan art". One of the most common things you'll find in the community of MMORPGs, where you can customize your character with love, is the so-called "drawing your OC(Original Character)" culture. We believe that the special emotions that make you want to record and show your original character - that spent time together ever since you were a beginner - is a unique value of MMORPGs that you can't get in games where you play with a predetermined character. <Like an action figure(Left), Try on a new Hanbok(Right) / Tree of Savior> Creating such a drawing of your character would take the time of a skilled artist. However, if you have a well-trained model with AI technology, you can have an "infinite production" of fan art. However, creating high-quality cosplay outfits can be very time-consuming, expensive, and labor-intensive. As a first step, we have planned and started a follow-up event of the April Fool's Day figure event, where users can submit screenshots of their characters and we'll create and send them an AI drawing of this character. This event is the start of a series of features we're working on in Granado Espada and Tree of Savior that will allow anyone to train an AI model of their character to create a variety of images with minimal interaction within the game. MMORPGs are an ideal platform for this kind of activity. We're working on augmenting the current community features to allow users to share and view AI images created by others. In addition to image-generating AI, text-generating AI is also showing great promise and impact. In particular, ChatGPT's near-human conversational and reasoning abilities have surprised everyone, and we expect that these aspects will also enable new experiences in the game world. We're also interested in teaching conversational AI bots to learn in-game settings and interact with them as they would in-game. We're looking to start with something as simple as automatically adding on the quests in the game to make them richer in terms of experience, and then move on to having direct conversations with NPCs in the game. Ultimately, we're hoping to fully train our own language model and create a unified world where the stories of the players and their activities become legendary. Language AI and image AI are fascinating on their own, but when combined, they will open up even greater possibilities. This is an area of active research in academia and the professional industry.
