PATCH NOTE

[COMPLETE] Scheduled Maintenance for August 16th, 2016

MAINTENANCE COMPLETE: The servers are back up and you should be able to log back into the worlds. Compensation for the maintenance extension has also been sent via GM message. (UPDATE: Addition of the x4 EXP Tome and x8 EXP Tome items has been postponed for further improvement. These items will be introduced in a future patch. Also, Blessed Gem recipes can be purchased from Item Merchant NPCs, not Accessory Merchant NPCs as previously announced.)


Greetings, Saviors!

We would like to announce the details of our weekly maintenance. Make sure to check below for the maintenance schedule and patch notes.

Please note that other issues and bugs are also being worked on even if they are not mentioned below.

Maintenance Period

1. MAIN CHANGES

  • NEW: Monster Card Equip System
    - This system allows monster cards to be equipped and apply its different effects to your character.
    - See our dev blog post here about the Monster Card Equip System for more details.
  • NEW: Item Transcendence
    - You will now be able to acquire a transcendence item, the ‘Blessed Shard', from the mission in Saalus Convent.
    - Clearing the mission will give you one item, and you may acquire up to two ‘Blessed Shards' per day. However, Token users with the function to open more boss cubes will be able to obtain up to six per day.
    - With the ‘Blessed Shard', you can purchase a recipe item from the Item Merchant that will allow you to craft a ‘Blessed Gem: Weapon/Armor/Accessory'.
    - You can transcend items with Blessed Gems by interacting with the Blacksmith NPC at Klaipeda or Orsha.
    - ‘Extract Blessed Gem' and ‘Extract Item' menus have been added to Blacksmith NPCs in Klaipeda and Orsha. Extraction requires a Hammer of Dismantlement or a Spell Rod, both items obtainable via monster drops.
    1) Blessed Gem Extraction
    Extracts the Blessed Gems out of a transcended item (requires Hammer of Dismantlement).
    The item disappears instantly, leaving you with part of the Blessed Gems.
    2) Item Extraction
    Removes all transcendence effects from an item (requires Spell Rod).
    Turning the item back to a non-transcended state will not recover its Blessed Gems.

  • Two new missions have been added to Saalus Convent:
    - Uphill Defense Mission: In this mission, you'll have to protect the Divine Torches from the monsters taking over Segale Slope. You can enter this mission by interacting with the Sister Lhasa NPC (min. level 120).
    - Lake Mission: Newly added to the original Saalus Convent mission; you can enter it by interacting with the Sister Aiste NPC (min. level 240).
  • New quests have been added to the following regions:

    - Pull out the Metal Plate: Your character will now have to remove the vines in order for the metal plate dialogue to appear, as intended.
    - Curse of Sloth: The name of the Blackened Clue NPC will now display properly. Fixed the error that made only the character's shadow appear at times.
    - The Evening Star Key (2): The level of monsters in this quest has been raised to the appropriate level.
    - Earth Tower: Fixed the error that made the camera move erratically when moving from Area 1 Lobby to 1F.
    - The Best Spot [Psychokino Advancement]: This quest will now go on without a hitch.
    - Enhanced Energy of Fire [Pyromancer Advancement]: This quest will now go on without a hitch.
    - And, Eternal Repose (1): The instructions of this quest in Dingofasil District will be changed from “from the petrified monsters” to “from the monsters with the detonator.”
    - Village Curse (5): The item of this quest in Sventimas Exile will now yield the intended result.
    - Fixed the problem of party members being unable to move when quitting the quest right after the cutscene.
    - Treasure Map of the Stonemason Family (1)-(4): This King's Plateau region quest will no longer make the client crash when started in a party.
    - Farewell, My Friend (1): Fixed the issue of the boss monster of this quest rewarding characters with Monster Cards (note: Monster Cards are not obtainable from quest bosses).

- You will no longer see an error message when pressing Space on dungeon portals with party members.
- Fixed the problem where awakening was possible through the request of fellow party members even during the skill's cooldown time.

Barbarian

Stomping Kick


- Skill attack increased from 219.12 to 394.416.
- Increase per level changed from 52.8 to 132.
- Fixed the issue with this skill's effects exceeding its intended range.

Embowel


- Skill attack increased from 208.8 to 417.6.
- Increase per level changed from 50.76 to 152.28.

Frenzy


- STR stat bonus of (STR * 0.025) added to attack increase (result: (STR * 0.025 + 10 + skill level) * no. of stacks).

Summoning


- The HP UI of summoned bosses has been modified.
- Skill can no longer target allies.

Riding


- The cooldown time of summoning skills will now be properly displayed while riding.

Squire

Refreshment Table


- Characters will now move normally after eating food from the refreshment table.
- One character can no longer eat all the food on the refreshment table.

Repair


- The repair record UI will no longer overlap with the scroll bar.
- Fixed the problem of occasionally not being able to select all items.
- The scroll UI will no longer be pushed to the bottom when the number of equipment items available for repair exceeds two lines.

Swordsman

Concentrate


- Stat bonus changed to (STR * 0.04 + DEX * 0.02) * (skill level - 1).

Restrain


- Chance of stun changed from 4% per level to 6% per level.

Wugushi

- Ingredient items will now apply as intended with poison items when refilling the poison pot.

7. REGIONAL GUILD BATTLES

  • TP rewards per rank will be added as below:
  • The following objects have been added:
    - ‘Patron Orb' – When activated, increases Stamina by 100%, Physical Defense by 10% and Magic Defense by 20%.
    - ‘Guardian Orb' – When activated, creates a guardian that protects your Guild Tower.
    - ‘Warp' – Moves you to a central area.
  • Patron Orb (object)
    Patron Orb effects: 1 minute duration, stackable
    - Increases Physical Defense by 10%, Magic Defense by 10%, HP by 50% per orb used
    - Increases speed movement by 4 when stacking 3 or more orbs
    a) The Patron Orb appears in a total of four locations. When activated for 4 seconds, its buff effects are applied to all team members.
    b) If the activation is cancelled or your character is attacked during the 4 seconds, the activation of the orb fails.
    c) After activating the Patron Orb, activation is disabled for another 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • Guardian Orb (object)
    - After the battle starts, the Guardian Orb is created in two locations. The Guardian will protect the team that succeeds in activating the orb for 4 seconds.
    - Big Guardians have a duration of 1 minute and 30 seconds; Small Guardians last 3 minutes.
    - Big Guardian Orbs can be activated 3 minutes after a Big Guardian disappears; Small Guardian Orbs can be activated 5 minutes after a Small Guardian disappears.
  • Spectating
    - You can now click the Spectate button on the desired match to enter it in spectator mode.
    - Spectators will be given high movement speed (above 60) to freely move around the battle zone.
    - Spectators cannot use skills during a match, nor can they be seen by or inflict damage on the other participants.
  • Other changes
    - Weekly ranking reset time changed from Monday at 00:00 to Monday at 06:00 (EDT).
    - Guild tower HP is set to 1000, with each hit dealing 1 of damage. Guild tower HP cannot be healed with HP-recovering skills.
    - Winning conditions changed as follows: 1) Destroying the guild tower; 2) Kill count; 3) Remaining HP in guild tower.
    - New map added to replace the previous battle region.
    - Characters can no longer participate in Regional Guild Battles for 7 days after leaving a guild.
    - Characters will now respawn in the location of revival 30 seconds after they become incapable of combat. After respawning, characters become invincible for 10 seconds.
    - While waiting to revive, you can now right-click the list of party members on the left to spectate the match from their character's point of view.
    - The results window has been improved.
    - Guild towers will not be healed by Capture and Reversi skills.
  • Bug Fixes
    - The problem of the weekly rankings not resetting after the right time has been fixed.
    - The correct message will now be displayed when you click the Join button in a Guild Battle while playing with a guild-less character.
    - The Join button will now display the correct message during the game.
    - Fixed the problem of a message stating you have spent all the allowed entries and being unable to enter even though it is not the case.

8. BUG FIXES

  • Graphics and UI
    - Chat speech bubbles will no longer be cut.
    - Fixed the problem of hair animations not being displayed in certain situations.
    - The Wizard School Look Costume (Female) will no longer display graphic errors when performing basic attacks with a two-handed staff.
    - Graphic compatibility problems between certain character hairstyles and the Wizard Circle 3 costume have been fixed.
    - The Beak Mask will now display properly after equipping other items, as intended.
    - Fixed the issue where a character's motions would remain the same after unequipping a Circle 3 costume while in an attack standby stance.
    - The effects of the Basic Red Ox item will no longer repeat after moving to another map.
    - The problem of being able to interact with Team Battle League statues has been fixed.
    - The surrounding UI will now display properly after closing the Inventory window by pressing the X button.
    - The search function in the Material category of the Item tab in the Adventure Journal is now working as intended.
    - Fixed the issue of Market items in the Retrieve tab overlapping, not allowing them to be properly retrieved.
    - Fixed the issue of Adventure Journal points not being displayed correctly after completing an achievement.
    - The Exit Game UI will no longer overlap with your companions in the lodge even when the number of companions exceeds 12.
    - All Fencer attack and skill effects will now display as intended.
  • Gameplay
    - Free TP can now be spent from inside the Lodge as intended.
    - The HP of companions will now be restored as intended in all situations.
    - The problem of a character dismounting their companion automatically when entering a map has been fixed.
    - You will now be allowed to click as intended when switching from monster to NPC or vice-versa on mouse mode.
    - Red Meduja monsters will now drop Glow Spore items as intended.
    - The Ignition item's Burn debuff damage will now be applied as intended.
    - The problem of the player character not moving after feeding the companion on stairs has been fixed.
    - Fixed the problem of when equipped with Valia item, Holy attack becoming minus in Team Battle League combat.
    - Zombie Capsule items can now be properly used in Regional Guild Battles as intended.
    - Enhancing equipped items will now increase its corresponding stats as intended.
    - Fixed the issue of certain monster species not dropping items. (The following monsters are still affected by this issue: Cyclops, Salamander, Yonazolem, Archon, Minotauros, Stone Thorned Moyabruka, Rikaus.)
    - The problem of being able to lock Premium Awakening Stones and regular Awakening Stones during item awakening has been fixed.
    - The error that allowed for items to be crafted without consuming the corresponding materials has been fixed.
    - Tree Root Crystals will now spawn as intended in the Galeed Plateau and Manahas regions.
    - Using the Warpstone in Tenants' Farm will now teleport your character to the entrance as intended.
    - Fixed the issue where entering your guild's hangout would occasionally take you to the character selection screen.

9. OTHER CHANGES

    - Maps will now appear in different colors depending on their level

    - The channel dropdown menu will now show the number of players currently on each channel.
    - A new function that alerts you of when friends and guild mates enter or exit the game has been added.
    - Skill-based shop levels will now be displayed to all users.
    - Silhouettes will only appear behind bushes, rocks and other background objects.
    - Character silhouettes will now display properly when riding a companion.
    - The tooltip of skills will now show information regarding weapons, learned and activated attributes, and SP consumption/cooldown times according to enabled attributes.
    - Guilds new to the Regional Guild Battle ranking will now be displayed as [New], with the up and down arrows showing guilds previously on the ranking.
    - A warning message will now appear after attempting to equip more than one of the same Monster Gem.
    - Characters in the lodge will now be displayed separated in two pages, with 15 characters per page.
    - The Falconer Master and Monk Master NPCs will have their faces changed.
    - NPCs will now display quest-related dialogue first when a quest is available, and regular dialogue when no quest is available.
    - Description added to the x4 EXP Tome tooltip: ‘Recipe can be purchased from Accessory Merchants.'
    - Item categories in the TP Shop have been rearranged to be more specific.
    - You will now be able to check other characters' gem and enhancement information.
    - The Cooldown Time Potion description has been changed to ‘Resets all cooldown times. Right-click to use.'
  • The amount of silver dropped in the following instances will be increased:
    Historic Site Ruins
    Demon Prison Guild
    Hollow Thorn Forest Dungeon
    Collapsed Residential Quarters

  • Team Battle League
    - The ranks and scores will be renewed.
    - Team Battle League will now allow options of the equipped items to take effect.
  • Field Boss Cube Drop System Changes
    - Field boss cubes will no longer be dropped; instead, they will be directly deposited in your inventory (party members included).
    - You will now see a list showing others characters' ranks and acquired items.
  • Miscellaneous
    - 21 new collections have been added.
    - You will now be able to check other characters' gem and enhancement information.
    - When your character becomes incapable of combat during a guild event, you will now also have the option to revive at the field.
    - The respawn rate in Saalus Convent [Area of Ruins Mission] will be changed to 10-15 times.
    - Saalus Convent missions will now give EXP and silver as rewards.
    - Skills that can only be used while riding a companion will now appear as unavailable on the quick slots when your character has not yet learned the Companion Riding skill.
    - The Cooldown Time Potion item has been changed to untradeable.
    - ‘The one with less stars' is no longer a winning condition in Card Battles.
    - You will now be unable to log out, move channels or access the character selection screen during a combat situation. After you try to use any of those functions, your character will need to avoid combat for 10 seconds before being allowed access to them.
    - The instanced dungeon UI list now has the function to organize instanced dungeons by level (the instanced dungeon UI can be opened by typing in /indun on the chat box).
    - Manticen, Archmage's Fire Rod [Cube] can be now obtained from Lv.190 and 200 instances.
